A figure walks towards Shermer High School, shaking faintly. As it comes closer to the school's double doors, the figure begins to grow with detail, allowing anyone with the gift of sight to see it's Jc.

The teen blows his hot breath into his cupped hands, hoping it'll heat them up.

Last night he just learned another con of leaving his house: He will get a cold if he doesn't bring a rain jacket, which he didn't.

Julian sneezes softly, shaking his head as everything sounds a bit inverted. He believes he hears tires screech right beside his body, but still moves towards the double doors.

However, those tires screeching wasn't his imagination, it was Mr. Standish slamming his brake to not hit the male.

"God, that boy is weird. I can't believe I have to deal with him on a Saturday! It's not like I'm a defective or anything," Mr. Standish's daughter, Claire, grumbles in the passenger seat.

"I'll make it up to you. Have a good day." Claire responds with an eye roll, getting out the car.

Jc walks into the library, shivering from the heat now rolling onto his body. A light groan leaves his lips before he walks to the last table on his left.

He can hear footsteps, however, can't see them as he takes his hoodie off. As soon as he's able to see, he shakes his head. His soaked, jet black hair sticks to the top of his forehead. He pats down the back of his head, despite the sides and back of his head have been buzzed off. A sigh escapes Julian, his body relaxing in his seat as he places his feet on top of the table.

Looking over, he sees a girl in pink staring back at him. He raises a brow as she turns quickly, looking forward. He shrugs, looking down at his shaky hands, figuring out it was Claire Standish sitting there, as Andrew Clark came in from his peripheral view.

Julian chuckles, seeing the nerd Brian Johnson walk inside quickly, sitting between himself and the two preps.

A loud thud forces Jc's eyes upwards, finding the John Bender walking towards Brian. The rebel moves his head faintly, indicating the boy to move, which Brian follows, allowing Bender to sit. Julian stares at the male for a moment longer before looking at his hands once more, wondering if he can make them stop shaking.

Light footsteps are heard, a soft thud following. Then sniggering is heard. Julian lifts his head up slightly, seeing a girl in all black. He snaps his finger lightly, helping him remember her name is Allison Reynolds. Damn, him helping the librarian out with overdue books has become an advantage in remembering names.
