It's 11:30pm and it's crowded with people together here in time square, as we all wait in anticipation for the new year to arrive. Everyone was freezing their butts off, especially me. We all watch and enjoy the show of performers singing and see as the weather progressively becomes harsher.
"Austin I want to leave! It's cold!"
"Baby, no it's almost New Years! 30 more minutes and when the ball drops we can go into the nice heated house."
"You make me want to go home more now! My butt is frozen."
"It won't be frozen later on though;)"
I glared at Austin and rolled my eyes. I wasn't having it because of the cold.
It was 11:58 and the time started counting down. Everyone is becoming more eager and for once, I can actually feel body heat arising from the dead. Where has the heat been the past 28 minutes of standing in the cold!? The time is ticking and 2018 was coming to a close. News reporters were anxiously talking to everyone in the audience asking them what they are looking forward to the new year, and what they expect to see in their future, while others were playing games and sitting around. As time went by we had a minute left, and I started having deep thoughts, like those deep shower thoughts. Austin saw me pondering and was curious what was on my mind. I explained to him I wasn't ready for 2019 and it'll be bad if I don't finish this 2018 year right. He looked at me like I was not making any sense.
"10... 9... 8..." everyone started to count down, and I'm here scared.
"7... 6... 5..." I look around and everyone seems excited and they cannot wait
"4... 3... 2... 1..." HAPPY NEW YEAR! Everyone shouts and cheers as 2019 has begun and 2018 is now over. The music started to play and everyone is hugging and laughing with one another.
"Hey..." I glance up and it was Austin. I forgot to mention, Austin and I have been together for 3 years now, and this is our second New Years together. Oh how time has passed by way too fast. I smiled at Austin, and we glanced at each other for a little. Finally we leaned in and kissed. It started to snow lightly, and it was beautiful.
"I am glad I stayed out till 2019 began."
"I am too baby, I am too."
Austin held me close as we watched everyone hug each other and our relatives and friends all gather around smiling and laughing as the new hear begun.
This is very short, I apologize. And the whole imagination is very bad. I guess as you grow older it can go two ways: you keep your imagination strong or you lose it, and I think I lost a lot of my imagination as I grew older, lol. I hope you enjoyed this imagine, and I came back you guys. Well for now:) idk how often this will be, but I felt bad.
If you guys have any ideas on new imagines, please comment. Tell me who u should do it about, and I'll get to it as soon as possible. I may start a new story(book) just because I feel like it:). Enjoy your 2019 you guys!
