It's late at night we huddle in blankets! I touch my face my skin is burning cold! I think about how far we've come. I throw my blanket over my shoulders and walk down the hall doing my hourly rounds. I look out the window and see zombies laying in the snow, the snow must be slowing them down. I exhale and the window fogs up. I continue walking down the hall. I see Izzy sitting up in her bed, staring at Jack. She catches a glimps of me in the corner of her eye and says Sam he's just a little kid. I look at her and tell her Jack is strong he's going survive this world if only Oakley would have made it to this place, "Gawd she was to sweet and innocent for this new life and I couldn't pertect her." She looks at me and says Sam you did everything you could, she couldn't have asked for a better brother. I work up a smile and picture her smiling, her smile was contagious, she absolutely loved life and everything about it. I tell Izzy goodnight and walkout into the hallway. I slide down the wall till I'm on the floor, a tear rolls down my cheak and I realize my family is all gone. I fall asleep on the floor with their memories in my head!
