Run Piper!

~Venom's POV~

The shadows were calming as I watched my mate sit on top of the roof with the wind blowing through her chocolate brown hair. She wanted to walk around and I said no, but she made a strong case, and I was going to stay close the entire time. She was calm, everything about her was calm. Her body wasn't tense, her aura wasn't fear, but peace and calming making me calm about this situation. Walking towards her on quiet feet. Resting my head in the crook of her neck, her scent much better than anything in this world. Purring out as her cool fingers went around my neck. Enjoying each other just like this as my little spider enjoyed the night scene in this human world.

"Thank you, Venom," she said, her voice calm as she leaned into me. Holding her close to me not wanting her to go. The few days away from her was the worst, more then having to track down Spider-Man just to kill him for ruining my plans. "Anything for Little Spider," that was what I want her to hear.

Something caught my sensitive ears. Looking up into the dark sky seeing nothing, but my ears were catching something. Pushing Piper behind me as I watched the thing more and more until something shot at us. Screeching out grabbing Piper and trying to run, but something caught my foot. Screeching out in pain. "Venom!" Piper running to my foot seeing a spike through my ankle, my symbiote skin sliding away from it to free myself. "Run Piper!" nudging her away from this place. "Get back!" nudging her again as a pumpkin bomb was thrown at us to try and bring us down. Piper listened and began to run away from this place and back towards the sewers, and maybe with enough time to get back there and safe from this thing that was attacking us.

~Piper's POV~
Oh my god! Oh my god! Green Goblin found us! How'd he find us? How could he in this giant ass city?! It would've taken him weeks, maybe even months to find us! Yet he found us in nearly two days. Gasping for air that was coming in chopped breaths running down the street trying to get away from the two villains that are fighting on a rooftop in New York City. Already police cars were chasing down the street as a crash and a building fell behind me. Cutting down an alley, my hands over my heart trying to steady the sudden adrenaline rush tonight.

I wanted to know if Venom was going to be okay, but that runs the chance of running into Peter or the law enforcement who will probably send me into S.H.I.E.L.D. for having "interactions" with a symbiote that hates one of their heroes Spider-Man AND being the younger sister of Peter Parker. Taking deep breaths trying to calm my shaking body. This wasn't good at all. Going back to the question of how could Green Goblin find us? We are almost at the edge of New York. How could anyone close to knowing me...find me? Or the villain Venom? Screaming out in panic as something grabbed at my back pulling me further and further into the alley, pinning me against the brick wall with white webbing.

Oh no...

The costume of the famous Spider-Man came into view. Tears streaming down my face. At the fact that my brother was right in front of me, but also because I betrayed him into loving one of the people that hate him with all their guts. Falling in love with a symbiote that came from space that first bonded with my brother then to Eddie Brock, now I don't know who Venom's host is, but I didn't care. I love Venom, not the host that carries him to live on this planet. "It's okay, Piper, I got you." Peter hugging me as the webbing hugged me against the red brick that I wanted off of me and run farther away from this scene. Tears streamed more and more as the scent of my brother came into view. "I'm sorry to burst this lovely reunion, but I need you, my dear, to complete my projects." Green Goblin's voice echoed through my brain like a song you hated more than life itself.

Looking at the monster. A large canister holding a black liquid that was desperately trying to get out and towards me. Venom... the canister was nicely next to Goblin's bare foot, and I hated seeing Venom like this. So many emotions were going through my body at once. Rage, fear, sadness, regret, so, so, so many more coursing through me, but those were the only ones I could define right now. Peter tried to shoot a web towards the green, mad doctor, but a device went into his stomach shocking his body and throwing him onto the ground.

"PETER!!!" screaming at the top of my lungs trying to get to him, but the white webbing around me against this brick wall was keeping me there for Green Goblin to pick up and take us somewhere where we could be forced to do things that will scare me more then what Venom did to me nearly six months ago. Crying wasn't going to help the situation, but that's all I could do as Green Goblin walked off his hover board and walked towards me. His finger going under my chin lifting my head until my red and puffy eyes looked at him. "Don't cry, My Dear, you'll be fine in mere hours." something that smelled like lavender filled my senses and black was all I remember before losing everything in my life.
