"I have an idea how they look like because I've seen them." Amanda said.

"When and Where?" Zoey said shocked.

"I don't know it's a blur. It could have been a dream or when I was small but I have seen this marking somewhere."

"So for now we will just have to depend on this drawing which is not that bad. So what other thing do you..." Zoey was interrupted by the doorbell. "It must be the pizza, can you help with some drinks from the fridge while I pay for this." Zoey said getting up.

"Food is ready." Zoey said as soon as she was through with her transaction. Amanda was already sitting with the drinks waiting for Zoey to come back. "The weather is changing" Zoey said looking outside."

"Guess it is not as sunny as you thought it was." Amanda said. "I was wondering how your family is? Are your parents mean are they irresponsible? I also want to know why you have a lot of hobbies and How you do it all?" Amanda asked referring to the question Zoey was about to ask before interrupted.

"Is this because you entered my room lately, your answer can be given in an instant if we were in your room." Zoey said taking a piece of pizza.

"Okay, let's go there."

"But we will have to carry everything." Zoey said trying to discourage the idea and taking another bite.

"Don't be lazy it's just a box of pizza and two drinks, I will carry the pizza just carry the drinks"

Zoey agreed to go to her room for a complete explanation of how and why she is the way she is as they climbed the flight of steps Zoey remembered something. "Remember that time we were trying to get you to my lab and you dislocated your ankle when you fell I never really treated you for that."

"Yeah it's true I went through a lot of pains in my head and my insides that I completely forgot about my leg, I guess it must have healed on its own." Amanda said.

"Do you know what it means, it means you heal fast." Zoey shrieked in excitement.

"We can talk about that later I don't want to drift from the major topic. You have not told me why you never told me about your family and stuff like that" Amanda said as she opened the door to Zoey's room. "Why don't you lock your room?"

"It's because I don't find it necessary. Now we are here let's eat I would not want the food to get cold." Zoey said as she sat on the bed and tapped on a space on the bed for her to seat.

"What do you want to know?" Zoey said with a mouthful of pizza.

"I would like to know about your family how come you're the only child." Amanda said taking a pizza in her hand.

"My mom and dad are uptight, well planed individuals who barely gave me anytime but when they did they often took me on the best of places but it wasn't enough I had dreams of being a scientist that they couldn't see. They worked hard trying to building a business empire in hopes that I would be happy to follow their footsteps. At 15yrs I told my parents that I don't want to have anything to do with the business world so my parents adopted a boy" Zoey said with hatred in her tongue.

"Did you hate him?" Amanda said in a concerned tone.

"No how could I hate a boy who did not do anything to me but my parents I barely forgave-" "At eighteen I left home with some friends, I was tired of being neglected."Zoey muttered.

"If you left, how come your parents gave you this house and how come I had the opportunity of meeting them? I don't believe you" Amanda said not believing that her friend could make such a rash decision.

"My parents searched for months and then I realized I was a fool, my parents loved me with all their heart" Zoey said crying. "But the damage had already been done; I had to try my best to make them forgive me.-" Zoey paused and resumed "They have, they did it so fast that sometimes I wonder how it is possible and they also encouraged me in whatever I planned on doing because they fear that they will lose me again."

"Do you keep in touch with your parents?" Amanda asked.

"Not nearly enough, I spend my week days at work and I spend any other time I have with you." Zoey said with no regrets but Amanda felt guilty.

"I'm sorry I did not mean to get in the way I, I" Amanda stammered.

"No need for apologies I always find time for everything I did not mean to make you feel guilty after all today is not even a weekend is it?" Zoey said in her usual cheerful voice. "So do you have any more questions? Please, I don't feel like talking about family so try something else."

"Why do you have so many unrelated goals and hobbies?" Amanda asked out of curiosity.

"Well most of the time my parents were not giving me attention I sought out skills to get it and that made me to engage in the most tasking skills first it was fencing then swimming then diving then gymnastic but I did not last very long in that my body was not flexible enough but I found something new every year that I haven't done learn to speak French that was last year I did not learn enough but I think if I get lost in a French city I can find my way out." Zoey said confidently.

"Why do you do it?" Amanda asked trying to get more understanding.

"Why do I do it?" Zoey repeated. "I don't understand your question."

"Why do you try to do it all?" Amanda asked.

"I just told you, I wanted attention."

"But you still do it."

"I've grown into the habit and cannot change it. I love a challenge and I love succeeding in whatever I do and I love to accomplish." Zoey said in an obsessive nature

"What will be your greatest accomplishment?" Amanda asked.

"Finding out something that will change the whole idea of science and something that will be so great I will get many awards for it."

Zoey said with a crazy smile in attempt to creep Amanda out and then added. "I'm joking Amanda, you should see the look on your face. I don't want fame or riches I want adventure and unfortunately for me, that rarely occurs in the real world." "So far in my life my greatest adventure is having you as my friend." Zoey said in her usual cheerful voice.

Amanda and Zoey talked about different funny things that happened in school, watched a movie and had fun until they were too tired to go on.
