best present ever

I woke up the next day I saw the pictures I sent Colby of us from the night before; even the embarrassing one, just as I thought. Colby and Sam had to pack for New York today and fly out tomorrow so we agreed to share presents today. I was extremely excited to give and receive my presents I mean who doesn't like gifts? I got their presents down from the top shelf of my closet and at them on my dresser. I brushed my hair and threw on an oversized shirt and some shorts and ran down the stairs to get food. When I came back up to my room Colby and Sam were looking at their presents and inspecting them. "Hey hey! No! Bad children!" I smacked their hands and pushed them out my room. "You have to wait til later." "Aww man!" Sam whined. "The mean lady caught us!!!" Colby pouted. "The mean lady can take away the presents." "NO!" they both protested. I went to shut my door, "get outta here!" I laughed. I showered, got redressed, blow dried my hair and put some makeup on. I hung out with Colby and brennen all day. Brennen was about as sad as I was that he couldn't go with them. "Pleaseeee?" He begged. "No brennen! We have to practice for out brolby is over video!!" Colby said. "Damn it" I put in earbuds and played music so I couldn't hear their back and forth.
Cut to later. It was about 8. We sat together in Colby's room. I tossed their presents at them and Colby tossed mine back. Sam just handed his to me. I unwrapped Sam's , there was an amazon box under the paper. I took a pocket knife and cut it open. It was a few bottles of rose gold, silver, and lilac colored hair dye. "Thanks Sam!!" I put the box on the floor and picked up Colby from my lap. It had a note on top that said 'Open later'. I stuck it back in my lap. Sam opened his and thanked me. Colby loved his too. It was a relatively expensive cologne and a cool black and red shirt. "Thanks, mean lady." "No problem. But you don't get your birthday present until you get back." He nodded. "Seems fair." Sam took his stuff to his room. I held up the box and raised an eyebrow at the brunette. His face got red and discolored. "Not now.." He motioned for me to put it back down. I set it beside me and leaned against the wall. Sam came back and we all talked for a while. Then after about an hour he decided to go to bed. "Well we gotta get up early Colby. We should go to bed. And I'm not dragging you out of bed in the morning." Sam chuckled. "Yeah i know. I will in a minute." Sam closed the door. I immediately pulled the note off the top and opened the small box. There was a piece of paper inside. Colby leaned back in his office chair as I stared at the paper confused. I pulled it out and slowly opened it. My heart raced I could slightly hear it pounding in my ears. I unfolded the whole thing and my heart dropped. It said: "wanna go out? I caught feelings for you and I was embarrassed to say it aloud." I looked up at him shocked and flustered. I was at a loss for words. "Yeah... so?" I smiled so wide and covered my mouth and nodded extremely fast. He let out a sigh of relief. "Yes..." He stood up and I jumped up and practically leaped into his arms, almost causing us to fall back. "Oh my god I'm so happy you felt the same way! I liked you as soon as I set eyes on you. That sounds kind of dumb but- yeah..." I blurted. "Shhh shhh. I'm excited too but let's keep it lowkey okay? Only until I get back." He said quietly. I nodded but I secretly planned to tell my best friend Anna later. "Okay. Goodnight I have to go to sleep now." He frowned playfully. "Okay.." I pouted and backed of him. I snatched a one of his hoodies from his closet before leaving. "I have a right to this now. And I'm cold." He smiled. "Night Kaitlyn." "Night...Cole. Hehe." I grabbed the doorhandle. He scrunched up his face. "Damn the internet." I giggled and closed the door, walking straight into my room. I texted Anna and of course she boasted that she told me so. But I was too happy to get frustrated.

I drifted off from the beginning of this fic. Instead of saying "y/n" I'll just say the characters name is Kaitlyn. I hate how long it takes to spell "y/n" on my stupid tablet. But yeah. Post #2 and I'm tired asf. Happy late bday Cole Robert Brock ;) 😻💞🎉
