Griffith Park: Part 1

  As of right now, its May 4th!! Idk when this will be published, but Happy StarWars Day!! Also, I have reached my peak- I have 69 followers. Hell yeah. Also, happy Revenge of the 5th hehe. Starwars gang rise up!

   It was about 3 days after the paranormal events at the Biltmore when Colby burst into my room. "We have a new video idea." I frowned at my boyfriend for scaring me with such a sudden entry. "What is it?" He smiled suspiciously, "We're exploring the Bronson caves in Griffith Park." "That sounds-" he interrupted me. "And we're going on a haunted hike where 2 people died on a picnic table." "I'm down! That sounds awesome. When are we going?" "In three hours, so you might want to get up." I groaned, but smiled. "I like to sleep all day." He chuckled slightly and left so I could get dressed.

  I took a fast shower and blowdried my hair. Then slipped on some casual clothes since we were going to be hiking. I looked in my full-sized mirror at my outfit: some black adidas joggers, white Nike sneakers, and my red and white graduating class shirt. I decided to grab a hoodie, as well, since i assumed we would be out late. I took one off Colby's merch hoodies and carried it in my hands. I heard Colby leave his room next door so I grabbed my phone and my blue water bottle and went downstairs as well. I filled my bottle with lots of ice and water.

  I sat in the kitchen and talked to Colby and Jake until Sam came downstairs with his camera and backpack. "What's up Samuel?" I asked. "Nothing much. Let's go film our research for the park before we go. We only have about an hour left and I already have the info pulled up on my phone." "Good, because I have no idea where we're going." The three of us in the kitchen got up, called Corey down to film with us, and sat down in the garage. The guys sat down on the couch and Sam pulled out his phone, reading the article about the park out loud. I stood behind the camera's tripod, even though I've been in many videos over the past year, I was still a bit camera shy.

  "So as you guys know, we are in Griffith Park. Tonight." Sam started. Jake gasped loudly and I tried to stifle a laugh, to not ruin their video. "We're here to do some more research because there are a bunch of stories that happened in Griffith Park. This park is huge. It cover all of the mountains of Hollywood. The trail we're going on tonight so sending at this picnic table." Sam said to the camera dramatically. "Legend has it, that on Halloween night in 1976, a young couple around- 20 or 22- were 'experiencing a romantic moment' known as-" "SEXUAL INTERCOURSE." Colby yelled over Sam. "They were doin' that buh-buh." Jake said as Sam looked at him questionably. I laughed quietly again. "You don't know that!" Corey said. "They were poppin' that p*ssy, bitch." Colby said again. I covered my mouth with my sleeve and took deep breaths to not laugh. They made a few more inappropriate jokes and continued on.

  "So anyway, on this picnic table, in Griffith Park, they were crushed to death by a giant falling tree. On Halloween night, and both were killed at the same time by the same tree." "I did see on reddit that ten years before that, there was a girl who was also in her twenties that they found dead at that table. At the exact same table." Corey shared. "So that table's haunted and we're going there tonight." Colby said. He described how a park ranger had a run-in with their ghosts a few years back. "They interviewed a park ranger a while ago and his quote, directly, is: 'If you one even a quarter of the did we find in the park's perimeter, you'd never set foot in it again. There's animal sacrifices, satanic cults, murders, prostitution- with stuff like this happening on a regular basis.'" Sam read. "It's pretty haunted so we decided to go check it out. Are you ready boys... and girl?" Colby looked at me behind the camera. Everyone replied a small 'yeah.' "So we'll see you at the park." And Sam cut off the camera.
