Several months had went by and for the past couple we'd all been planning to go to Australia to explore there. And I mean why not? They've explored numerous places here in America, so why not expand, right?  Well that was Sam's excuse for wanting to go. "Yeah and its a fucking amazing place to go for a vacation too." Colby said. "Besides," he does a really bad Australian accent, "maybe we can pick up some hot Australian babes on the beach;)"
Sam and Corey just looked at each other blankly. I don't know if it was that they both had girlfriends or Colby's horrible impression, but they looked disturbed by whatever it was; and so was I.  "No no no no no." They all looked over at me, "you're doing or wrong." "How?" Colby furrowed his eyebrows. "It's like this: 'I was born in Australia, and I know Melbourne like the back of my hand.'" I said in my best accent. I cleared my throat, "It's a little rusty." They all stared shocked. "Wait you were born in Australia??" Elton asked, his voice cracked in surprise. I giggled, "yeah. Born in Sydney and grew up in Melbourne." I put an ear bud in and played some music and listened carefully with the other ear (even though all the info was escaping my brain as soon as it was processed bc I don't focus well) "Do you know any abandoned or haunted places that we could film at?" Sam asked, leaning on the counter and propping himself up with his elbows. "Sure, there's a haunted orphanage in the woods-" "A HAUNTED ORPHANAGE!?" Corey yelled, eyes wide. "...yeah. And an abandoned mansion that my friend's friend went to-- and almost got caught bc the neighbors are always on guard. Also, its out in the middle f nowhere and next to impossible to find." I smiled at all of them who were interested, but I saw a hint of uncertainty. "Well there goes my question of 'Is it easy to get to'" sam said frowning some. "Corey still looked disturbed by the orphanage, probably because everyone else was interested. "I could tweet out if some people know places we can go there." Colby said, pulling his phone from his ripped jeans. "Yeah and I can ask my brother. He moved back there after he moved out and is going to college." I said excitedly. "Ok... hold up.  You have a brother??" Elton asked again. "Yep. His name's James.". " Wow cool. That'd be awesome to meet him." Colby said coolly. "I'm sure he's a bit lonely there anyway." "Probably."
Elton cleared his throat. "So, a show of hands for all those against the Australia trip?" Corey started to raise his hand but put it back down. "OK all of those for the trip?" Everyone raised their hands, even Corey who was hesitant. "Ok. Its final; land-down-under here we come. We'll leave in 2 weeks so get ready. I turned to Colby's and smiled, " yes! I get to go home! I'm so excited!!" "I'm excites for too." He smiled back, looking down at me, in "a way". A way that made me feel all tingly and like butterflies were zooming around my stomach. A way that made me feel nervous (in a good way). I just smiled back even wider, a little red in the cheeks.
