((Have this picture I made for a chapter starter. Like this pic of him😻))

While driving the few minutes there, the guys talked about what they thought it'd be like. Scary. Cool. Adventurous; that was all our thoughts of how this night would go down. Sam thought it would be creepy and scary, Colby said it might be cool, and I proposed that it would be adventurous, since I like to keep a positive attitude about being in nature. It did soon get cramped when the backseat of 1 turned into a backseat of 3 when Matt and Elton (and to my surprise, Elton wearing a cloak like from the hobbit or harry potter) piled in the car. I met Matt and it seemed as if we were friends from the start. Laughing and talking the rest of the journey until we reached the part of the street that bared the gates to the Cobb Estate. From the beginning, this place seemed creepy. Not just by all the research we had just done on the place or the dark, shadowy woods, but like something deeper...
There was a car behind us with its headlights on but the duo insisted on getting out and doing their intro anyway. "Might as well get it out the way," Colby shrugged. "And we can get a better look at Elton's cloak." We all laughed softly. An unnerving tension was slowly creeping through everyone's body; seizing muscles, freezing veins, chilling bones.
During the recording of the intro, I stood next to Colby and Matt, holding hands with the brunette and was swinging our arms back and forth violently and acting like a pure child. Probably my unknowing reflex to calm my nerves was to revert back to childhood.
Everywhere around me were creepy noises and rustling of bushes. 'It's just the wind-' Then there was a crack like a branch breaking and people talking from off in the distance. 'You're just be paranoid it's probably just an animal or my head messing with me..' "There's people ahead. We'll have to watch out for them later." Sam said quietly. 'Okay.. maybe not.' "Yo, this place is lowkey sketchy as fuck." I whispered to Colby. He nodded, trying not to shake the camera too much. There were people off in the distance and the group got paranoid thinking it might be a satanic ritual that roamed around this area. We walked on for a while, hearing noises and screams every once in a while, until we reached a fork in the road.
Colby instantly starts walking down the right path by himself, "I wanna go down this way by myself." I ran up beside him and grabbed the sleeve of this sweatshirt and dragged him back to the group (even though they were only a couple feet away.)  "How bout we all go this way," Elton said, pointing to the left, "and Matt goes that way." He points to the right. Matt made a noise that sounded to be a mix between a throat clearing and a sputter. "You got the big flashlight I think its fine." Sam joked. "Let's split: 3 and 1. Alright, let's go." Elton clapped his gloved hands together. "Stereotypes exist for a reason." Matt said, "And I don't want to be the first to go." "Technically, if we're going by Matt's philosophy, then stereotypically, I'm the second one to go." I said, smiling. "But seriously, there are guys here with us. And-" Sam was cut off by elton, "Dude, she just said 'Call 911.'" He pointed over where the other group was.
We all discussed quietly what we should do. "Dude, you know I'm, like, into all this scary, creepy stuff, but this is too much for me even." I said, then glancing off towards the other group who were shouting words I couldn't make out from this far away.  "Let's go up." Sam said and he ushered us onto the left path. We walked for a while and heard more noises, they seemed to be getting closer. Colby was walking ahead of us by a few feet but we all stopped cold when we heard a load of talking then, dark laughter from the on comers. "Yo, will the path that we're on lead directly to them-?" "Hey, shhh." Sam hissed, cutting off his brunette duo. We all listened and as their voices got closer, we all turned and started to walk away as fast as possible. "Go go go go go." Sam hissed again, we all broke into a run back towards the gate. Someone made a high-pitched, shrieking kind of laugh and we ran even faster, tearing down the stone-covered path. "Go go go!" Sam said again. "COME HERE." a guy behind us yelled. "Go go go! Come on!" We said alternatively. They continued to yell at us. Sam booted ahead of everyone and stopped briefly for us to catch up. "Sam, go! There's like 7 of them coming towards us!" I grabbed the back of his sweatshirt. I was getting pains in my sides from all of the running. I clutched my side and continued to run as fast as my long ass legs would carry me. "There actually coming. Go! This is serious!" Sam said for like the 10th time. "Yes, Sam, that's what ice been saying the whole time!" I ran all the way to the gates and stopped, looking behind me for the others. I had been one of the top runners for my high school's track team, but that was years ago, so I really surprised myself.  "They're on bikes." I heard Sam say from in front of me. 'Bikes?! Why didn't I think of that?' I thought to myself, still panting. Sam made it out, followed by Colby, Matt and Elton (who I want shocked was last be cause of his bear-like cloak he was wearing.) Our group walked quickly all the way to the car, looking back every few seconds. We got in the car and waited for a while, the car a ways begins us still had their lights on, people were walking around in front of us, and past our car. And three we waited for a few minutes then drove around, discussing (and sometimes arguing) on whether to go back. They came to the ultimate decision to go back. "We have to go back. All we did was run away. We font have anything to show the viewers."Sam said, Colby nodded. Matt and it looked at each other with shocked expressions. "Guys, we could have been killed. Im sure the "viewers" would understanding that some situations are too dangerous." I tried to reason with them. "Look, Kaitlyn, we have to give these fans what they want to see; which is us exploring this supposedly satanic park. So we'll go back." I just sat there in silence. Sam turned on the camera and explained that we're gonna go back and explore more. "We're going to try to bet to the actual estate. I know people always complain we always get to scared on these exploring videos so we're gonna grab our balls, especially without our uncle here, and of back to the park." Sam tried to lighten the obvious dark mood that was blanketed over all of us. "Part two, going back."
Neither Matt nor I was ready to go back into these terrifying woods.  We walked all the way back to the fork in the road and went right instead. So again, we trekked off farther into this dreaded forest. We walked what had to be 20 yards and round the stairs to the old Cobb house. "We literally walked a few feet and we found it. We should've just taken this path the whole time." I said, trying to hide the bitterness in my voice. Yes, I was a bit salty for saving to walk back and forth twice but whatever. "And we got chased out while we were just over there." Colby pointed I to the darkness in front of  him. "We were directly behind the house." "Omfg dude really?! I'm done. This exploring thing sucks." I said, clearly agitated now. "That means we have to go back over there because in this whole place, that's the most haunted spot." Sam declared. I let out a long and dramatic (and very loud) groan. "Really?" I was shushed quickly by Sam and Elton. "Yo don't be making all that noise." So we walked through the grass where there used to be a large mansion built on top of then we discovered something beyond creepy.
The duo was in front searching for the path we had taken the first time we can't down here, when Samuel stopped dead where he was. "Dude dude! There's bobby- hair! I mean- bobby pins, forgot hair." Sam hissed loudly, then realizing his blunder. I tried not to laugh at his mistake as this was a serious time. "There's a girl's glasses and bobby pins!" He said again. "That's really freaky." I got cold really fast and shivered. 'Maybe all this is real..' I thought. We examined the scene more and continued on, still deeply disturbed by our findings. We found the old path and started to piece the puzzle together. "We were standing here and we heard a girl's voice from over there." Sam points towards the glasses. "That's where the glasses are." There were more noises. Sam decided for all of us to be quiet for 30 seconds to see if we could hear anything. "Why are you calling all the shots today Samuel?" But I was ignored as he shushed all of us. We didn't hear anything. Defeated, we decided to go. "What about the hike?" Sam asked. "The hike's all the way that way," Colby pointed to his right, "and I'm not going that." "Yeah, hell no. I've already had to walk here, run back, and walk here again so I'm good." I said walking towards the way to leave. "Have we done what the viewers want?" Sam said. "Hell yeah. Let's go now." We walked all the way back to the car and did the outro.
Back at home, I had trouble sleeping; so much that I had to get up and turn on my 2 lamps to keep me from freaking out. But I also had colby in case of dire emergency. (Even though nothing would have happened, I'm just paranoid.) The next day when I woke up, i opened everyone's presents and distributed everyone out to then too. Sam got me his red 3am hoodie, the gray 'beyond the norm' phone case, and red 3am phone case (along with the green 3am one and XPLR beanie). So I forgave him for all the trauma last night :).

Geez, while writing this and rewatching this freaky video, my speaker in my bathroom keeps turning on and off •-• I for real think my house is haunted af. I'm terrified.
