There was one minute left so you decided to go upstairs, for your curiosity got the best of you. When you reached the top you saw a painting of a blue rose, it was beautiful. You looked at it for a while

Everyone was told to get to this far out location...were the bomb was planted. Before everyone got in the cars to get there you saw Death.

Did you get the innocent
androids to safety?

You asked her telepathically. She gave you two thumbs up and disappeared once again into the crowd. Everyone stopped by a deserted train track, but you and Connor. You two knew that you couldn't get close. The delivery of red ice arrived and that's when Connor hit the button...

People and androids were thrown back and ripped apart by the explosion. You felt the heat wave from the explosion evaporate the tears in your eyes.

Connors POV

My finger pushed down on the button and everything fell to chaos. It didn't feel right. There was a guilt that followed the flames. How is this the right thing to do? "Unspeakable crimes." (y/n) whispered out of no where. "What?" I asked "they all committed unspeakable crimes.... I know it's not much but it might help clear your conscious." She said looking down at her lap. I didn't know what to say so I didn't say anything. Her hair fell over her face making it no longer visible, but I was able to see her tears fall. I embraced her in a hug trying to comfort her but something like this isn't really something that can be helped. That's probably why we were sent on this mission. The DPD knew that androids shouldn't be effected by it but they failed to realized her knew design holds emotions. But are these emotions programmed at this point?

She had been acting odd since Wednesday, after she came back from her walk. I can't place my finger on it but my best guess is I'm just paying attention more to her emotions. It's, unsettled me in a way, I know she's programmed with some emotion but...I'm not. I guess it's caused me to be less connected, I've noticed I've subconsciously been more robotic than I have been because of my concerns.

"I'm fine, I'm okay." (y/n) said and lightly pushed me off her. "Are you sure?" I was worried about her. She sighed and and nodded. "I can't believe that these were our orders..." (y/n) said, wiping tears from her face. She cried a lot, I wish I could stop it.

Your POV

************time skip, cause I'm lazy as fuck

You stepped into the DPD for the first time in a while, it felt good to be back. You looked at your desk and you saw a familiar chubby pigeon waiting for you. "Blue! I missed ya." You said scratching his little head. "Hello to you too, kiddo." You looked up to see Hank leaned back in his chair. "Hey Hank! I'm baaack~!" You you cooed, Hank laughed. "What's happened lately?" You asked him while leaning on his desk. "Nothin' to important, a deviant here, an a deviant three." Hank told you. It made you think of Markus and it made you a little nervous. "Alrighty, so everything's been quiet for the most part." You said. You were about to go back to your desk "how was your mission?" The question made you more nervous. "It definitely was a learning experience. We got to stay in a two story little log cabin, that place was adorable." You stated, trying to stay away from the topic of the mission itself. "...you and Connor...in a house alone... " Hank said with raised eyebrows.

Your face went blue "shut up Hank!" You yelled but not loud enough for everyone to here. "Na, seriously tell me. Did ya fuck him?" Hank asked bluntly. "Wa-! Ah, t-that's not something you just ask!" You managed to choke out through your flustered panicked state. Hank started laughing "oh my god! You did!" Hank said still laughing. "Shut up!" Your face was so blue. Hank was still laughing hard when Connor walked up to hanks desk, standing next to you. Hank started laughing harder "what do you find so amusing?" Connor asked, cocking his head head to the side. You thought you would die from embarrassment, but sadly you were still here in this uncomfortably awkward conversation. "Oh my god, this is to good." Hank said wiping tears from his eyes with a huge shit eating grin. "You and (y/n) seriously-" "NOPE!" You cut him off and started pushing Connor away from Hank.

You didn't know where you were pushing him to, you just didn't wanted to get out of the conversation. "(y/n), why are you pushing me away from Hank?" Connor looked over his shoulder to look at you. "You don't need to know. Now stay." You said once you reached a wall. "Why do I have to stay here?" Connor asked. "Stay." You ordered again. "Sorry, I have work to do." Connor said walking towards his desk. You sighed and walked to your desk, when you sat down you saw Blue had gotten stuck in a cup. You chuckled and helped him out "the cups to small for you buddy, sorry." You told the bird. You looked up at Hank and glared at him, he just gave you a shit eating grin and started talking to Connor.

RA9 kill me now...wait...RA9?.............................RA9?

You shook the thought out of your head and logged into your computer. You looked at the cases from the past week. Hank was right, nothing special. You started zoning out staring at your computer, then you found yourself in the garden...shit. "Shit, shit, shit, shit. This is bad." You started panicking. You forced yourself to take deep breaths and lower your stress levels. You walked towards the center and noticed that all the plants were dead. Amanda was standing there waiting there for you. "Hello Amanda." You greeted her, she looked at you and you flinched, she was terrifying. She was about to say something but glitched out of existence with an ear piercing screech. You grabbed your ears and opened your eyes once it went quiet. After that you were back at your desk. Your heart was racing and hand were trembling, what the fuck was that? "Are you okay?" Connor asked you, who had rolled over to your desk. "...yeah, I'm good." You gave your best reassuring smile in hopes he wouldn't ask any more questions. "Are you sure, you've been acting odd. Did I do something?" Connor asked worriedly. "Are you kidding? No way, you didn't do anything! You're perfect. I'm fine really, just in a train of thought." He smiled at you and reluctantly rolled back to his desk.

Your LED flashed between yellow and blue as you received another case.

Huh, so that still works...

"Come on let's go!" You motioned at Connor, Connor of course knew what you were talking about and Hank got used to just following behind in these situations. Off we go.
