My life flashed before my eyes while I stared at those menacing chompers. He licked his lips and I found myself automatically scooting back on the floor. He started walking faster towards me and I moved back as fast as I could on the floor, until I was up against a wall. I had such great luck.
My heart was pounding so fast I thought it was going to burst. I was focusing on the sound of it pumping in my ears and the horrifying black eyes that were staring a hole through my leg. He was almost four feet away from me by then and I had absolutely no where to go.
All of a sudden, he pounced! I screamed at the top of my lungs as his whole weight smashed down on my body. My scream seemed to get Justin out of his trance because he yelled, "Aaron, stop!"
Aaron didn't pay any attention of course; he grabbed my neck, trying to make it exposed to him. I thrashed around as much as I could and he grabbed my hands and held them still. Using the only strong part on my body, I moved my legs up so my feet were on his stomach. A weird feeling shot through my body, Aaron tensed up but I tried to ignore it. I saw Justin over Aaron's right shoulder and saw him grab Aaron's shoulders. Right as I saw Justin start pulling back I kicked my feet as hard as I could. To my surprise, Aaron went flying into a seat a few feet away.
I sat up, panting and glaring at Aaron. Within four seconds of meeting him, he tried to kill me. He definitely was not on my good list right now. I stood up and put my hands on my hips as Aaron also started getting up.
"What is wrong with you!?" he said, rubbing his head. My mouth dropped open, was he serious for God's sake!?
"Me!? Well, sorry for trying to live!" I growled.
"You should be!" he said back angrily. So far, vampires suck.
"Guys come on; you are supposed to be friends!" Justin piped up. "Within two minutes you've already gotten in a fight!"
"How can I be friends with someone who tried to kill me?" I asked. "Plus, this is not my fault whatsoever."
"Yes it is! You shouldn't have been bleeding" Aaron yelled. I glared at him once again and rolled my eyes.
"Oh, such an inconvenience, huh?" I scoffed. Before he could say anything back Justin cut in.
"Stop it you two, Aaron, help me with the bags," he said shoving a suitcase into Aaron's arms. "Come on Sissy, let's get you to the nurse, I'll have Aaron and Demetry bring the rest in," he said turning to me and smiling, then he grabbed my hand and started leading me out into the rain.
"Does it hurt too badly to walk or anything?" he asked, pausing before we got outside. He glanced down at my leg; his face looked like he was in pain.
"No, no, let's just go to the nurse," I said quickly, I didn't want any more incidents with fangs for today. It's a good thing I'm going to a vampire boarding school now, isn't it?
We hurried out into the rain; I was soaked within a few seconds. But the good news was the rain washed all of the blood off of my leg and pants. I was trying to see the school through the rain but it was pretty impossible to me. I had no idea how Justin knew where he was going! He had my hand in his and he was just dragging me through the pouring rain. I still couldn't get my head around the fact that he was my brother; it was such a weird concept.
All of a sudden there was a building right in front of us. It came up so fast I had to suppress a gasp. Justin didn't hesitate to open the white door and lead me inside. We were welcomed with a very bright light, white rooms, and major air conditioning. There was a white desk about seven feet into the room and a doorway that led to the back of the building.
