As I walked back down the hallway to room 322 I realized how very unsuccessful my leaving had been. But either way at least I had met Gaven. I smiled as I turned the knob to the room.
"Shit," I thought as I realized the stupid door was locked. It didn't take me long to know that it was Aaron's doing, he had a thing with locking me out of places apparently. I groaned; leave it to him to spoil my good mood.
"Aaron! Open up!" I yelled into the door. When I didn't hear a response, I banged on the door. "AARON!" I yelled louder. I heard footsteps coming to the door and saw it crack open an inch.
"Excuse me?" I heard Aaron say sarcastically as I saw one of his blue eyes through the crack.
"Let me in!" I demanded.
"I think you are going to ask a little nicer," he said, I could see his smirk through the door. It seemed to fuel my anger.
"Aaron..." I said in a warning voice, giving him a glare.
"Are you going to be nicer?" he asked like a little kid.
"Just let me in!" I said trying to push the door open. See, I wasn't thinking too much, as usual. Some may say I'm pretty stupid. I mean, I do good in school, but in the real world I have the brain of a small chicken. So of course, his vampire strength outdid my human strength and I ended up getting locked out again.
"Come on!" I whined.
"Sorry, can't open the door, I have my hands full," I heard Aaron say loudly from inside the room. I knew for a fact that Aaron had nothing in his hands and he was perfectly capable of opening the door. The only thing that kept him from opening it was the fact that he didn't want to. I didn't know what to do so I leaned on the wall and slid down to sit on the floor. I sat there for a pretty long time, wondering where the hell Justin and Demetry were during all of this. I heard footsteps approaching me and opened my eyes to see Gaven walking down the hall towards me.
"What are you doing here?" He asked putting his hand out.
I took his hand and got up saying. "My idiotic roommate locked me out," I didn't want to say Aaron because I didn't want him to be scared away. Aaron probably has that affect on people, or vampires I guess I should say.
"Dont you have your key?" Gaven asked while smirking and glancing at the locked door.
"No, but I have a feeling I am never leaving again without it," I said smiling. He laughed and I couldn't help but notice how cute it was.
"Well, while your roommate sorts his issues out do you want to go to my room?" Gaven asked, taking my hand. I looked at my door, which now had the same inch crack in it as before. No doubt Aaron was watching us.
"Sure," I said. As Gaven started leading me away I winked at Aaron. All of a sudden Aaron burst through the door and shoved me behind him, making me fall to the ground. I quickly leaned up to see what was happening. Aaron's fangs were out and he was hissing at Gaven. I cringed away from the horrifically scary noise.
Gaven looked like a deer caught in headlights as he pressed himself against the wall. It only lasted about a second before he pushed himself back off of it, crouching down like Aaron and showing his fangs too. He hissed back right away, making me cringe even more. The sound made me feel so helpless and scared, and I didn't even know why. Aaron didn't even flinch at Gaven's sudden outbursts, but it made me jump two feet in the air.
