If Only You Could Love Me chapter 2

~Y/N POV~

I decided to walk back home since the rain could hide my tears. Unfortunately my house was 1 hour away from the cafe. Suddenly I saw a car start to follow me I made various turns but it still followed me. I knew that it wasn't Jimin's car. I got so frustrated in the situation that I ran up to the car and knocked on the window. And the person rolled down the window. He was gorgeous until I recognized him...
He was ... Jeon Jungkook. Jimin's Best friend.

~jungkook POV~

I was driving around trying to get to the park close to where Y/N and Jimin where so I could get things set up for Jimin's proposal, until I saw Y/N running and crying? I decided to follow her just in case. Then she suddenly ran up to my car and knocked on the window. When I rolled it down she seemed baffled.

~Y/N POV~

I was confused as to why Jungkook was following me so I  asked him " Jungkook why're you following me? Did Jimin send you?". Jungkook just stared at me confused. After a moment of silence he said "no Jimin didn't send me. But why're you here shouldn't you be on a date with him?"

"  I was supposed to but not anymore and never again." I accidentally said out loud as I thought that in my head

~Jungkook POV~

I was so confused what did she mean?
Suddenly she burst into tears confirming my thought that she was crying earlier when I was following her. But why? What did Jimin do to put her in this state? What did he do to make her say that and act like this? As if she had read my mind she said " Jungkook can you give me a ride home I want to get this off my chest so I will tell you what happened on the way"
I agreed and told her to put her address and then we left to her house.

~Authors POV~

As Jungkook drove you home you told him everything. How Jimin and you were having a good time until he received that phone call...
You told him about how you felt, how Jimin made you feel at that moment, how betrayed you felt. Until you suddenly realized the voice of the girl sounded familiar... it was Y/BFF/N when you realized that you felt even worse and you cried even harder.

~Jungkook POV~

When Y/N told me everything I felt ashamed. Ashamed of being Jimin's Best Friend and not knowing this, Y/N was a wonderful girl. After all I introduced Jimin to her since we went to the same dance class. I used to have a crush on her but when Jimin told me he liked her and that he was going to confess to her I pushed my feelings aside and decided to let Jimin be happy since when he met her something terrible had happened. But now he cheats on her and I don't even know with who?

She suddenly burst out crying even harder and I asked her what was wrong and she said " it was her?!! Why her?! Jimin why?!! How could you do this to me? To us !!!??" I tried calming her down and told her to tell me what happened and that I would help her as much as I could.

Suddenly the GPS interrupted me we had arrived at her house. But I didn't want to let her go home in this condition and I don't think she wanted to either
