I am on the plane to fly back to California and I already miss my mom and everyone else so much. I was so caught up in school, my new relationship, and everything happening with the other girls that I didn't realize how much I missed the people here. Especially Lydia and Sam. We had so much fun when we hung out yesterday.

I feel myself start to become sad so I close my eyes to sleep it off. I still have 2 more hours on this flight. Might as well sleep the rest of it.

***

The next two hours fly by and I think I might have accidentally fallen asleep on the shoulder of the person sitting next to me. Oh well, at least I do not snore or drool. I apologize to the woman multiple times, but she continues to laugh it off. Luckily, there is a small chance I will ever see her again.

I make my way through LAX to baggage claim. I do not need to pick up anything, but that is where Adelaide and I agreed to meet. I observe all the different people as I make my way. Families, couples, friends, and people alone. Some people dressed up, others dressed casually. It is crazy how an airport is where so many different people can come together but feel so normal. People fall asleep on chairs. I love it. Usually people of different backgrounds never come together like this.

"Willow!" I hear my name and I turn in the direction of the voice it cane from. As soon as I turn my head I see my gorgeous girlfriend raising her hand and waving.

I automstically start running to her. As soon as I get to her I drop my bags and jump on her and wrap my arns around her. She picks me up and swings ne around. But I end up being too heavy for her to carry and we fall. We start laughing and I grab her face and kiss her. She wraps her around ny neck and leans in also.

"One week was way too long to be away from you." I say between kisses.

"Ugh I know." She kisses me once more and stands up from on top of me.

"Are you ready?" She asks as she picks up my duffle bag.

"Yep!" I pick up my purse and take her hand and we walk outside to her car.

"So how was the flight?" She asks me.

"It was good." I nod my head. "The first half I watched movies, and the second half I slept. However, I fell asleep on a person's shoulder."

Adelaide starts laughing. "Oh No! How did they take that?"

"She was surprisingly so nice about it and so understanding."

"Well, that's nice."

"Yeah," I grab her hand and inter lock our fingers as she drives. "So how was time with your sister and her family?"

"It was so great. I love the kids so much. Gives me baby fever."

"You are so cute when you talk about your love for kids." I lean over and kiss her cheek.

She blushes and smiles.

"So where are we going?" I ask her.

"I suppose you have wsited long enough." She sighs. "My parents gave me their beach house in Santa Monica a couple years ago."

"No!" I gasp and my mouth drops. I take my hand from hers and cover my hesrt. "Ugh, I love the beach!"

"Yes, I know." She grins. "That's why i knew it was perfect. And we can go to the boardwalk."

"Oh, baby. That just made me so happy."

She smiles. "I'm glad." We stop at a stoplight and she leans over and kisses me.

About half an hour lster we arrive at the house and it is gorgeous. The front part is the garage. Then you go through the door through the garage to the pool. And after the pool is the actual house. And of course, on the other side of the house is the beach.

We walk into the house and I immediately make my way to the couch and fall on it in exhaustion.

Adelaide chuckles and walks towards me. "Awe poor baby."

"Yes, pity me. I am tired."

She smiles. "Stand up a second."

I raise my eyebrow, questioning her.

"Just do it."

I lay for a couple seconds and then stand up. As soon as no part of my body is on the couch she lays down on it. My mouth drops open.

"Hey!" I exclaim.

"Oh hold on." She opens her arms and my lips form a smile. "I haven't held you in forever."

I sit down between her legs and lean my back against her chest. Her arms wrap around my stomach and I immediately relax into her. I rest my arms on hers My neck head on her shoulder. She kisses my head and I just feel so safe.

"You want to stay inside for the rest of the day?" She asks.

"I wish I could stay like this forever."

She chuckles at my response. "Me too, babygirl."

I feel my heart warm at the nickname she calls me. "I love it when you call me that. Or any nickname for that matter."

"Oh So like, pumpkin or snuggle bear?" She laughs.

"Oh dear god please no." I shake my head. "My grandmother from Mississippi calls me things like that."

"Hey, I am old."

"Ugh," I scoff. "You are definitely not old. I thought you were at least 21 when i met you."

"Well, thank you." She kisses my head again. "I appreciate that. So what shall we watch?"

We pick a movie but I end not even making it through the previews and fall asleep.
