Daegu, South Korea
Taehyung and Sooah sat in the medical room together, waiting for the results to print out as Sera sat on a chair in front of them, her knuckles white from her clenching her fists. Sooah grabbed her hands with hers, and smiled at the woman with sympathy. "It's okay. Whatever the results are we will do whatever we can to help your daughter." Sera nodded, knowing how much she could trust the two adults in front of her. She had never put so much faith in someone apart from Jimin.
The paper finally slipped out from the printer, and Taehyung the results sheet, scanning it quickly before stopping at the result. He was happy but also scared and he didn't know how everyone would react. "It's positive." He gulped, Sooah catching a crying Sera into her hands as the woman cried out in happiness. But Taehyung wasn't so much happy. Sera was a petite woman, so thankfully her organs were just about compatible. But Taehyung was determined to find someone else for Sera. He would do anything for his best friends happiness and that was what he was going to do.
"Sera you have to speak to Jimin, if we're going to do the Transplant it has to be in under a week since Naeun's condition is getting worse everyday and I will not go through with it if he is clueless." Taehyung's voice got deeper, as he watched Sera wipe her tears and nod. The family had gone through enough rejection and dead ends, but even thought it seemed like they finally found a way out of the hell they were living in, Taehyung would still make sure Jimin knew what was happening before he let any procedures go through.
Taehyung and Sooah were left alone since Sera decided to spend some more time with Naeun and Jimin, and the two didn't know what to say. Sooah was sure of her feelings towards Taehyung at this point, but after hearing from Seokjin that that woman from yesterday was his ex wife, Sooah didn't know whether she could still confess her feelings towards him. But it seemed like Taehyung had beat her to it anyway.
"Sooah, I know this is terrible timing, but everything in my life seems like terrible timing so I'm just gonna go with it. I really like you and I know this is really unprofessional-"
"Taehyung. Just get to the point?" She chuckled, having her hands held by him as she guessed what was coming, and strangely to her it wasn't terrible timing at all. "Will you stay by my side from now on, Jo Sooah?" Taehyung couldn't even look in her eyes, scared of rejection and being left alone again. He didn't know whether he truly did just want to be with Sooah already, or whether the sudden presence of Iseul threatened him, but either way he knew he felt something more towards her and he was going to act upon it.
"Yeah I'd like that." She answered, a smile playing at her lips. Taehyung's wide eyes turned towards her, shock written all over his face as he pulled the girl into his chest and buried his red face into the crook of her neck, her scent throwing him into a frenzy as he could finally call this woman his. Yet their moment didn't last soon when an alarm sounded off, the emergency alarm meaning something bad was happening.
"Naeun.." Taehyung breathed out, jumping from his chair before rushing into her room.
A/N: If some of you think this is rushed, consider the fact that he may be forcing himself to speed things up because of Iseul. But does it really matter if he has feelings for her? Whats the point of delaying things?
