It was always a question, how things would turn out between Taehyung and Sooah. Even Jin, who knew the man inside out, failed to read his thoughts when Taehyung looked at her. He knew it was the gaze of love, but what was it that Taehyung was so scared of, which stopped him of moving forward with Sooah. Unfortunately, even Taehyung didn't know. Feeling the warmth of her skin, and the softness of her gaze on him as she feel asleep on his shoulder was all he needed to know that he wanted her to be his forever. He didn't even want to imagine or think of her possibly leaving him one day, because of how head-over-heels he was for Sooah.

Taehyung clutched the velvet box in his hand, before dropping it back into the drawer and pushing it shut. He did that at least once a week for the past two months and never did he have the confidence to gift Sooah the ring. They had been dating only for a few months, but that was because they had been moving very slowly. On the other side, Sooah always pondered upon the thought that Taehyung simply never wanted anything more. He had shared his past with her, and she lent him her shoulder to cry on, but sometimes Sooah thought that she needed more.

As selfish as it was, she wanted the man for herself. Marriage wasn't just a piece of paper for her, but more of a way to conceal what they already had, with a tie of forever lasting happiness. Sooah had no intention of leaving Taehyung, but she was worried that he wouldn't be able to grant her what she desired for. They constantly visited Naeun, and watched as she grew and developed into a beautiful girl. She enjoyed sports, especially sprinting, which was what she took on straight after she was all healed up.

Jimin and Sera were focusing on living their lives peacefully, and told all their friends that if they were a bit distant, that was why. And they all understood that very clearly. The pain and stress Jimin and his wife must've gone through for the past five years, would not go away in the matter of days. They needed alone time, as a family, to reconceal their bond. "Taehyung?" Sooah called out making the man jerk away from his desk, as he walked out of his little office and looked at the woman who was peeking her head out from the door. He raised his brows.

"Could you pass me my towel?" She smiled angelically, her wet hair resting on her bare shoulders as water trickled down them. Taehyung gulped, nodding before running into their room and grabbing the first towel he say and covering his eyes with his hand, before handing it over to her. He heard the woman chuckle, as she took the towel from him and closed the door behind her, letting out the smell of roses from her soap. Taehyung didn't realize that he was still getting flustered over the tiniest things, until they actually happened.

Wanting to cool down, he walked across his apartment to get to the kitchen and poured himself a cold glass of water, with ice floating inside. It made him feel better, as Taehyung tried focusing on all of the things he had to do that week. He recently got admitted a new patient, with bad autism and had a fear of being touched. Seokjin once again believed that Taehyung would be able to somehow help the boy, and calm him down whenever he needed to be touched. A few days ago the boy needed to get a blood test, so Taehyung sang to him to distract the boy and it worked. He was still shy, but slowly started to warm up to him, which Taehyung saw as an achievement.

Taehyung heard wet feet splatters across his floor before they stopped close to him. Turning around Taehyung saw Sooah standing in front of him, her towel covering her naked body with her wet hair covering her shoulders. He would get flustered, if it wasn't for the sad or confused expression painting her face. Taehyung was about to question it when Sooah lifted her hand, which held up the black velvet box, making his eyes very wide. Shock had filled him up as he failed to let out any comprehensible words.

But instead Sooah jumped into his arms, her wet hair making his shirt damp, but he didn't care at that time. The embrace gave him the confirmation he needed, to be able to finally decided that he didn't want anyone else, and that she was the one for him. And who knew, maybe this time round fate would be in his favor. At least with Jo Sooah by his side, he hoped so.
