Daegu, South Korea

Sera tightened the hairband around Naeun's jet black hair, slicking the few free baby hairs back and giving her a gentle peck on her cheek, sending the girl into a fit of giggles. Naeun couldn't contain her happiness as she ran out of her room and into the living room where she saw all the people she had missed so dearly. Taehyung and Sooah, sitting on the couch looking at something in Sooah's phone, prominent smiles on their faces. Jung Hyeri holding hands with her husband as they spoke about something, and lastly Jung Hoseok, Hyeri's son, and Changbin playing video games on the TV. She was content.

The moment her father stood beside her, everybody's eyes looked up and fixed on the two, with Sera slowly coming down the stairs. They all erupted into loud cheers, hugging Naeun and giving her welcoming comments. She had only been on a small school trip for a week, yet her family missed her like crazy, and the feeling was certainly mutual. In the past three months, Taehyung and Sooah were searching for suitable families to help them out, and finally they managed to get Changbin adopted into a loving family, which he cherished and loved with all of his heart.

"You look even prettier now." Sooah rested her hand on the girl's shoulder, seeing the slight tan the younger girl had caught whilst on a trip to Busan, which she had found out was where her grandparents lived. Jimin promised her he would take them all on vacation there at some point in the winter to visit them and the ski lodge his family owned.

She smiled in return, before running into Taehyung's embrace. She didn't know why she had this sudden bond with the man, and nor did anybody else. It wasn't just the fact that he saved her life, it seemed like there was more to it. "Hey there, cutie." He pinched her cheek lightly, not hurting her.

After Naeun's breastbone had healed completely, everybody had a difficult time coping with the over active child. She did not want to rest, or even sit for a long time. Sooah suggested it could've been PTSD from her experience, or just the need to make up time for all these years she wasn't able to do anything, since it risked her life. But now that she was healthy, and the wheelchair was gone everything seemed perfect. Everybody's lives were falling into place slowly.

Despite the worry of events repeating, Jimin and Sera were welcoming another member to the family. Sera was in her fifth week of pregnancy, and she was certainly happy. Jimin was becoming a better father, finally getting over the stress of Naeun's near death, and taking things on board. He was young, and so was Sera.

She got pregnant with Naeun at the age of 18 and somehow managed to survive, and it seemed like she had done a good job with Jimin by her side. Naeun was surely excited for the baby too, wanting it to be a boy and a girl. She couldn't decide. Although not planned, the pair were more than happy to have another seed of happiness with them.

Jung Hyeri and her husband were finally getting along again. After the incident with their daughter, they had distanced themselves from eachother, feeling the hostility radiating from each other's words. Hoseok was having a hard time seeing his family slowly destroy himself, so he insisted on having a long conversation with the two of them, naming their priorities and somehow managing to rekindle their sweet marriage.

He was still upset, thinking that his sister would no longer be there for him every morning, in the kitchen trying to help their mum make breakfast. It was very painful. But the most important thing was for their family to stay together, rather than falling apart.

Changbin spent his sixth birthday with his family, and all the adults within the room too. His mother, Soyoung, had got on with Sera and Jimin, admiring them for the things they had gone through and even shared her own story with her husband.

After having a miscarriage due to an accident, Soyoung found out she had become infertile due to severe organ damage, and was devastated after finding out she couldn't conceive a child anymore. So when the pair had met Taehyung and Sooah, with the opportunity to take care of someone as sweet as Changbin was like a dream come true to them.

Seokjin took a break from his job, and decided to travel the world with his friends Namjoon. They still stayed in contact with everybody back in Daegu, but obviously focused on reliving their lives. Seokjin felt so distressed and lonely in his pain, he knew he needed a break. Not wanting to burden anyone, since Naeun was still in a bad recovery state, he simply used the excuse of a break from his stressful job, but there had been more to it.

Seokjin's father passed away, and his whole family were left in millions of debts due to his father's dirty side business. So after giving his mother a lot of money to help her pay off all the debts, Seokjin decided to use the rest of his money to travel, and it was certainly working out for him.

As far as Taehyung and Sooah, they were still taking things slow. Taehyung had gotten better at handling his emotions and sharing his thoughts and feelings with Sooah, leading to a strong bond between the two. Sooah learned to separate her job from her social life, and finally learned to be casual and normal. With many dates behind them, Taehyung regathered the confidence to ask for her love, and the two became a couple. Both of them had thoughts for the future, and saw eachother in them, but neither would mention them, feeling too scared of jinxing it. Their first kiss they shared underneath moonlight when Taehyung dropped Sooah off to her house after their third date.

Overall, Naeun was happy to say everybody had found their own happiness, and she hoped that only more great things would come in the future.
