December 14th

Daegu, South Korea

Everyone rushed into the private room in panic, Taehyung and Sooah immediately attending to Naeun as the girl laid there with her eyes closed, her face pale and her breathing shallow. Seokjin lead the parents out of the room, letting the two doctors take care of their daughter. Jin could only imagine the fright they must've been going through as their daughter fought fr her life in the other room.

Jimin held Sera in his arms, no more tears left for them as the two were deprived of energy and any sort of hope in their hearts. Jin wanted to cry, he wanted to risk his own life in order to save theirs, but he knew there was nothing he could do. Many hours had passed and Taehyung and Sooah still weren't coming out, only a few nurses running back and forth between the private room and another room for supplies. But after what seemed like an eternity, Taehyung walked out the room, sweat beads built up on his hair line and his face pale.

"She's okay, it seemed like the IV wasn't giving her enough nutrients and her heart is slowly giving up on her. We're gonna have to go through the procedure tonight." The last part of his sentence Taehyung aimed at Sera, as the woman lowered her hand and clutched onto Jimin tighter, knowing what she had to do next. Jin looked at Taehyung for a long while, before dragging him to the side and whispering in his ear.

"I've found a donor compatible for Naeun. It's a little girl who is under the life machine and I've managed to talk the parents out of unplugging her, and singing the donor papers." Taehyung's eyes widened, upon instinct looking over at Sera who kept her body clung onto Jimin's, looking at their daughter rest through the glass window. "Really?" Taehyung couldn't believe it, but soon Jin had managed to have a meeting with the family, introducing them to Taehyung.

"My name is Kim Taehyung, I am a pediatrician here at Gidae hospital." He bowed, looking at the family of four, of course their daughter in another room in her hospital bed. The mother walked forwards, shaking Taehyung's hand and looking up at his with doubt in her eyes. "Jung Hyeri, I am Minju's mother." Taehyung shook her hand, feeling a certain pressure in his lungs.

It wasn't an easy job, discussing organ transplants with parents of a child donor. It was hard enough for them to give up their child, and to also give permission to give their organs to another dying child. But Taehyung could tell the woman was kind hearted, as he held her sons hand in hers. "When will the operation happen?" The father asked, gulping harshly as he felt his throat getting dry. He tried talking his wife out of it, but he knew he would want someone else to do that for their daughter, so he followed his wife's beliefs.

"Tonight. I believe Naeun wouldn't be able to last until the next sunrise." The words felt like poison in his mouth, objectifying the matter. He was passionate about saving Naeun, to see Jimin live with his family as a whole. He knew he would do his best. Jung Hyeri nodded, leading her family out the door as she spoke to the doctors. "Well then let's save her life."

A/N: Because I'm not the best at medical terminology, the next chapter will be just explaining the thought and feeling of Jimin's family and Hyeri's family so it's easier that way.
