I met jojo awhile back in middle school. We were best friends all the way and we never stopped being friends. However as soon as school was finishing I started to have feelings for him. They had grew over time but I only realised before we went to prom.
*the day before prom* Today was the day before prom I had got ready in some cute blue jeans and a black and white crop top. Jojo had texted me to see if he could come over and I said yes. Round 12 o'clock he came round and sat with me as we watched a film.
"Hey umm kat, can I uhh take you to prom?"
"Yes jojo you can." I said.
When I said yes, he hugged me and we watched films for the rest of the day.
*prom night*
Tonight was prom, I grabbed my outfit and started to get ready once it turned at 2 o'clock.

(Dress- you pick colour) After I finished getting ready, Jojo had knocked on the door. My mum had answered and shouted me down. I walked down slowly as he stared at me in agape. He held his arm out for me.
"M'lady" he joked. I laughed before I linked my arm with his as he walked me outside. We had got into a limbo he had ordered and it took us to the prom. He held my hand as we walked in and as soon as we got in we had to give in our tickets. We danced a little and waited to see who the prom king and queen was.
*time skip* Jojo had taken me back home however before he left he had kissed me. It took me a while to realize what had happened but I kissed him back. When he left I walked upstairs smiling to myself not realizing my mum was watching me. I had fallen asleep thinking about him and our kiss.
