Zara POV

"Where are they?" I kept my eyes on Jax as I tighten my grip on Alex's hands slightly.

"Next town over. And we found the car that hit you." Jax had a somber look as he looked down at the table.

"It was them. Wasn't it?" I honestly didn't have to ask the question. I knew the answer. They were pissed that I found a new life. Pissed that I would rather die than go back to them. And that wreck was just the beginning. "They'll come back. My father and brother. Things will get more bloody." I shook my head at the thought. They'd do anything to get me back. I was their biggest money maker.

"Nothing is going to happen to you Doll. I'll make sure of that." I smiled slightly at the determination in Alex's voice. They others all nodded and agreed with his statement.

"Alright. Just tell me what you want me to do and I'll do it. I won't have any of you guys getting hurt over me." I looked around the table and saw some small smiles.

"We're more than happy to do it sugar." I smiled at Bobby's comment and gave him a small nod.

"I'm going to have Juice look into where they're staying. Have a few nomads keep a look on them. See if they have any kind of pattern to their day. Might take a couple weeks to get the intel we need." Jax gave me a said sad smile as I sighed.

"Alright. If a couple more weeks of lockdown is what it takes to get my life back, then I'll do it."

"You sure Doll? We can find another way to keep you safe." I turned around just enough to see the concerned expression on Alex's face as he looked at me.

"I'm the safest I can ever be right here."

"Damn straight." I chuckled lightly at Hap's comment.

"Tig and Hap are going to stay here with you round the clock. A few of the other guys will be rotating out every so often. Some will go with the Nomads and then the Nomads will come back here to rest and update us and I'll send some other guys out in their place. We'll find a way to take them down. You have my word Zara." I nodded a thank you to Jax and the others and stood to leave the room.

"Whatever you guys need to do. You have my blessing. I want these bastards out of my life. Permanently." Alex grabbed my arm before I could move towards the door.

"You sure Doll? They're you family."

"I may share the same blood as them, but they never have been, nor will they ever be my family. Blood makes us related. Loyalty makes you family." Alex nodded at my words and let me leave the room.

The boys were right on my heels after that as I made my way outside towards the office to find Gemma. She's grown to be a mother figure to me over the months. And since the accident she's kept a close eye on Alex for me. She called us at least once a day while we were on our makeshift honeymoon to check in and make sure we were okay. Other than Tara, Gemma was the only other girl I could talk to. Lyla hasn't really been around that much since Opie died. I don't blame her. This place probably holds to many memories for her, good and bad. And those poor kids, I can only imagine how they feel.

I made my way into the office and sat down on the sofa as Gemma turned in her chair. "You okay baby? I heard the news about what the guys found out." She took off her glasses and moved to sit next to me on the sofa.

I only let out a soft sigh and shrugged my shoulders. I had no idea if I was okay, or if I wasn't. I didn't know what to feel. My own blood tried to kill me and took two months of my life away from me. Two months that I could have been with Alex. Two months that I could have been pregnant. Blood or not those bastards were going to pay for what they did to me, to Alex, to all of us. And I was going to make damn sure that they suffered just like I have.
