Problems & Tears

.....Previously....
Thomas held his arms out and held Patton close. Comforting what felt like an innocent child who has been hurt by the ones that he loves and love him.

"It's okay. You can tell me what happened."

Thomas held Patton close, not letting him go, rather, he let Patton cry into him. Thomas let Patton cry it all out first before he was ready to tell Thomas the problem.
It too about seventeen minutes for Patton to eventually stop crying.

"Are you ready to tell me what's wrong?" Asked Thomas, letting go of Patton to give him some space to talk.
Patton nodded his head.

"Roman was having this conversation with Virgil and Logan and I joined. Somehow it led to some disagreements and eventually it led to a big argument that they were so focused on the rage towards each other," Said Patton. "I wanted help, I TRIED to help, but they kept shutting me down, telling me to shut up and that I'm not in the conversation."

"Patton..." Said Thomas with a feeling of sympathy for Patton. He didn't say anything else because how could he when his morality has been ignored?

"Next thing you know I was starting to tear up and eventually, I left. They didn't even notice that I was gone because of this argument that they are so caught up on." Said Patton who was trying not to cry again.

"Patton I am so sorry to hear this. Would it be alright if I brought the others out here with us so we can sort it out? How does that sound?" Said Thomas. At the moment, this seemed like a good idea to him.

Patton shook his head. He wasn't ready to face them when he was, and still kind of is, mentally broken.

"Why did this happen? All Roman did was ask if he was important and all Logan had to do was open his smart mouth and say something rude to Roman. Which then led to saying something rude to Virgil." Said Patton who was starting to cry again, only to stop himself for a little bit, but continued to sob a little.

"Alright. We'll wait a few more minutes for you to calm down. When you're ready, just let me know and I will bring them to us and we can discuss the situation." Said Thomas as he laid back, crossing his arms and thinking about ways to solve this. Feeling a slight irritation, Thomas told Patton that he would be back and decided to go get a cup of water and some air.

Patton nodded his head and just sat on the couch, sniffling and slightly sobbing. Trying to make himself stop crying. But it wasn't much use. He kept thinking about what happened when he was with the others.

About 30 minutes went by, Thomas came back inside the house feeling a lot better than he was earlier.

"Jeez. What the heck was that headache? That's random." Said Thomas who followed up his statement with a chuckle. "Did I keep you waiting for too long?"

"No, you're fine. I'm doing a little bit better." Said Patton. He truly was doing better and was ready to talk to the others. But he wanted to stick with Thomas still than go to his corner of the room.

"Is it okay if I stand next to you instead of going to my part of the corner? I may be feeling better, but I don't feel comfortable standing there by myself." Asked Patton. Thomas told him that was fine. But not to get used to it.
