"I was wondering... when do you have time? I need to introduce you to my parents unless they won't believe that you're now my husband. I still don't wanna believe it." Arthit said as they were sitting in his living room again. He had a towel around his neck from drying up his hair and sleepy expression occurred on his face. He really didn't sleep that well and although it was still early evening, he wished he could just doze off.

Arthit's feelings were still a mess after today's incident and though he was doing his best to ignore it. He didn't have the time nor a chance to deal with it now while being with Kongpob.

"I work every day from 8 am to 4 pm, after that I'm free. We could schedule a dinner? I'm treating." Kong suggested, also adding the part about him paying. He didn't want to make things harder for Arthit with his huge debt on his account.

Although Arthit had a huge debt on his name now, I didn't mean he was out of cash. The debt was paid automatically every month from companies' earnings and it didn't affect him. Only legal charges could hurt him if the debt wasn't paid as it should be. This was something Kongpob didn't know yet and Arthit didn't feel the need to explain, thinking it was clear enough how things are.

"That would be nice. How about the day after tomorrow? At five?" Arthit asked with a phone in his hand.

"I'm fine with that. Shall I invite them, P'Arthit?" Kong asked after seeing his partner's frowning expression while looking at the display.

"Would you do that for me?" He asked with tiny hope.

"Come on, you're my husband now. Oh, before I forget, the marriage contract between us with our conditions will be ready tomorrow. I will bring it to you or have it delivered." Kongpob remembered. Arthit felt a weird, light itch in his chest. What was that?

"Thank you. Here, just press the button." Arthit handed him his old fashioned cellphone with buttons. He could buy a better one but he didn't want to bother with transferring all the information and contacts.

Kongpob gave it one quick glance before taking it without changing his expression. I cannot let him pay for anything, this is very bad. He thought and caught himself pitying him a bit.

"Hello?" Kong heard a male's voice after dialing the number.

"Am I speaking with my husband's – I mean, with P'Arthit's father?" He purposely made a mistake and called Arthit his husband. There was a long pause before the person on the other side spoke.

"Who are you?" Arthit's father asked harshly.

"Kongpob Prach...- Perawat." He answered calmly, although this mistake wasn't made on purpose. He still wasn't used to his new name. Do all married women have to go through this? He wondered, secretly admiring them.

"What do you want?" His harshness only increased. Kong knew he can handle it well, having to work with very rude costumers wasn't uncommon for him.

"I was wondering if Arthit's parents would be interested to meet us for dinner?" He asked, dropping the honorifics. He shouldn't have done it but giving the fact they have to act close, Kong had no other choice. He intended to apologize afterward.

There was another long pause before a woman's voice spoke.

"We'd love to." She answered, more politely and willingly than her husband.

"The reservation is made in a French restaurant Le Normandie at 5 pm, Tuesday. I'm looking forward to meeting my in-laws. Goodbye, mother." Kongpob said sounding very genuinely before hanging up. Arthit was watching and listening to every word and couldn't believe his ears.

That went far better than expected. Kongpob was seriously very convincing and played his role as a husband amazingly well. To think Arthit was the one supposed to be like that in front of Kong's parents, not the other way around.

"How about your parents? Don't they want to meet me?" Arthit asked after Kong handed his cellphone back.

"Of course they want to, but you need to meet them at home. They don't go outside much and expect the married couple, us, to come to meet them with our own will." He simply explained. Arthit already felt nervous but this only doubled it.

Kongpob's parents sounded very traditional, religious and strict. How could he possibly convince them they're an actual couple? How much was actually Kongpob telling him and what he kept to himself to not scare him? Arthit wondered, being scared anyway.

Kongpob, indeed, kept a lot to himself, as the duty to announce the marriage to media. As being an important and famous public figure it was highly expected from him to do such a thing. The best and only way how to do it was to organize an event, call close family who deserved to know it first-hand alongside media.

Not knowing how to tell everything to Arthit, he kept it to himself and waited for the best timing.

But the time for finding the right moment was running out, given that everything has been already organized for the next Saturday.

How Kongpob wished to just run away from everything. Maybe running away with P'Arthit isn't such a bad idea. He thought to himself before shaking his head and forgetting the evil plan.
