When Kongpob woke up, Arthit was still soundly asleep. After few unsuccessful attempts to wake him up, Kong decided to try it later, once being dressed up and ready.
It wasn't even necessary though, as Arthit woke up on his own while Kong was in the middle of undressing himself. As he noticed a naked body standing in front of him, his eyes widened. He managed to stop himself before yelling his husband's name and shut his eyes tightly again.
Kongpob registered the slight movement Arthit made while panicking and turned around.
"P'?" He asked quietly, not sure if he saw correctly. Arthit cursed in his mind, again pretending to be still sleeping.
"P', are you still mad at me? Or..." Kongpob smirked for himself, "...were you just peeking at me, by any chance?"
"Kongpob!" Arthit acted without thinking and sat up.
"Hmmm, did I get it right?" He smiled and continued teasing him.
"Right my ass. I-I just woke up." Arthit looked away, feeling embarrassed. Who would want to peek at you?
"I'm glad you're talking to me again, P'. Good morning." Kongpob cut his act and put on his shirt.
"Morning." He muttered back, still blushing.
"Our parents are expecting us in the dining room, we should hurry up." Kong quickly explained and handed him spare clothes he chose from his closet.
"Our?"
"You're part of the family now, they're considering you their son."
Arthit nodded, starting to feel the pressure. Feelings of guiltiness cause by constant lying were consistently haunting him, yet he couldn't do anything, just to keep up with his husband.
"One more thing, P'Arthit..." Kongpob hesitated, his look shifting from Arthit to objects around them.
"What is it this time?"
"...my parents think we're living together." He sighed.
"What? Kongpob, what the hell?" Arthit started to feel all the anger from yesterday's conversation again.
"Wait, P'! I'm sorry, but I'm telling you now, see? I'm not keeping anything to myself anymore." Kong started defending himself.
"Save it. The more you talk, the less I trust you." Arthit avoided his puppy eyes, storming into bathroom and slamming the door behind him.
"P'Arthit... don't be mad, please. They've literally thrown me out the day I told them about us with words that newlyweds are bound to live together. What else could I do?" Kongpob knocked on the door, experiencing yet another Déjà vu. He really has to keep Arthit and bathroom as apart as possible.
Arthit meanwhile washed his face, completely ignoring his apologizing husband. He glanced at himself in the mirror, focusing on his disappearing bruise. It was hardly recognizable but it still hurt.
Get yourself together, Arthit. You have no reason to be mad, act like an adult. He frowned at himself before quickly changing into Kong's clothes.
"P'Arthit, please..." Kongpob still plead, rhythmically knocking on the door.
"Am I allowed to have some privacy? Or do you intend to watch me when I change?" He snapped as soon as he unlocked the bathroom's door.
You were the one peeking at me earlier. Kong shook his head in disbelief.
"Mr. Kongpob? Breakfast is ready." One of the maids knocked quietly on their door but didn't enter.
