Kongpob did as Arthit ordered him and drove him home. They were both quiet the whole ride, making the atmosphere even tenser.

"Thank you for today and yesterday...take care, P'Arthit." Kong said as he pulled over and stopped the car's engine. His husband didn't even look at him when he got out of the car and slammed the door.

Kongpob sighed, leaning against the steering wheel. He reminded in that position for few seconds before putting himself together. It's better if we stay this way. I might get rid of these faster... He thought, referring to developing feelings inside him. He took one last glimpse at his husband disappearing in the huge building before intending to start the engine again.

As he saw the back of Arthit's silhouette, Kong's body moved on its own. He got out of the car and started running towards the person. He couldn't let him leave like that.

"P'Arthit!" Kongpob saw him entering the elevator, trying to stop him. Arthit acted like he didn't hear nor see him, pressing the 'close door' button.

"Please, talk to m-... Oww!" Kong put his hand between the closing doors at the last second but the automatic system didn't respond fast enough, locking his palm in.

"Kongpob, what are you doing? Why did you put your hand in there?" Arthit worried, seeing his husband holding his hand as soon as the door opened again. "Let me see." He wanted to check his injury but Kong didn't let him.

He hid his injured hand behind his back and grabbed Arthit's arm with his other one.

"Let me talk to you." Kong still panted a bit from the running, determined not to let go until his husband cooperates.

"You're ridiculous."

He only stared at Arthit, not saying anything or moving an inch.

"Kongpob. You seem to forget that I'm still your senior. Let go." For the first time since their first meeting, Kong got anxious. Aura around his husband seemed frightening and scary.

"I'm sorry. I just cannot watch us staying this way." Kongpob let go unwillingly, looking at him with his sad eyes.

Damn, stop making this face. Arthit thought angrily, slowly losing his stubbornness. It's all your fault, I'm the victim here... right? Arthit stopped himself, wondering what exactly did Kong wrong. He lied to me...didn't he?

.
.
.

Wait, he didn't! Ugh... He slowly started getting to conclusion he wasn't liking.

Am I angry only because he didn't trust me more? Isn't it my fault then...?

"Show me your hand." He ordered, still frowning and fighting his inner battle. Kong obediently did what he was told to.

"It doesn't even hurt anymore." He muttered, wanting to focus on more important issues.

"Oyy! Kongpob! It's all red, how can you say it doesn't hurt?!" Arthit's eyes widened, forgetting that they're in the middle or an argument.

"Don't mind it, it's really okay." Kong hid his hand again, looking straight into his husband's eyes.

Arthit tried to resist his look but it was pointless. After all, he'd already forgiven him.

"Do you have a place to stay at?" He asked after a shorter while, already knowing the answer.

Kong kept quiet, having the hardest dilemma of his life. Should he tell Arthit about his flat? He promised he will tell him everything, but speaking technically, this didn't involve him at all. It was purely Kong's business.

"I do, don't worry." He answered at last. Telling him now would make everything even more complicated.

"Oh, where?" Arthit didn't expect that.

"I'll find something." Kongpob felt a small urge to smile, his husband seemd to care about him again.

"You know, I was wondering... Since you told your parents about us living together, we might as well just do it. I won't feel that bad for lying to them then." He sighed, giving up. He'd lost his imaginary fight.

"P'Arthit...? Did I hear you correctly?" Kongpob couldn't believe his ears but the huge smile was already forming on his face. Why there was such a sudden turn in Arthit's attitude?

"It doesn't mean I trust you again nor that I'm less mad at you. I just can't bear to watch you struggle so much when I'm able to help." Arthit tried to stop getting his husband's hopes up.

"Thank you so much, P'!" Kong couldn't stop smiling, although deep inside he knew this wasn't right.

He lied again in order to get closer to Arthit.

This is getting dangerous fast... I might won't be able to let him go. Kongpop thought as they entered the elevator again.

Why did I say that... and why did he agree? Damn it, this is getting way out of my hands. Arthit cursed, being surprised and horrified by the sudden and impulsive decision he made on spot.

Didn't I want to keep my distance? How did he get so close again? Crossed his mind as he watched the elevator doors close.

Double update, whoo ~ heavily inspired by the scene from Sotus S, I just couldn't help it! It's one of my favorites, although I couldn't add the hugging part. Too early for that ~ but don't worry, we're getting there.
