Kong briefly explained the situation to Arthit who didn't pay any attention. You're my husband... and I love you. Dark red color flushed his cheeks and ears as he was replaying that phrase again and again.

What was that about? Why did he say it? D-...did he mean i-it? Arthit's heart was beating so fast and his mind dozed off so much he didn't even notice when the car stopped.

"We're here," Kongpop announced and unfastened his seatbelt. Arthit blinked few times and snapped back to reality. They were again in front of the Prachaya mansion.

"Kongpop, we need to talk-..." Arthit tried to stop him as they got out of the car. He needed to know what was Kong's previous behavior about.

"P', it's starting in three minutes, save it for later, please. Come on." He grabbed his hand and led him inside. People standing nearby were already snapping pictures and waiting for some drama to happen.

Arthit desperately needed to get rid of those burning feelings inside him. Everything was happening so quickly he couldn't keep up, yet the feel of his husband's hand was calming him down again.

The hall was packed with people, more than last the time Arthit was over Kong's house. The set up was the same, a podium in the front with two microphones was already prepared.

"First of all, I'd like to apologize for calling you all at such short notice, but this matter cannot wait. Rumors about my son and his marriage have to be cleared and put to an end." Kong's father begun the conference.

Kongpop made his way through the crowd, dragging his husband behind. As his father announced their names, they made it just in time to stand on the stage.

"Thank you for coming here today." Kongpop started by greeting everyone.

Although it's your fault we have to be here. Arthit thought to himself, noticing that he's still holding Kong's hand. Should I let go? He wondered, feeling how his palms have begun to sweat.

"We've come to decision to answer all your questions and clear up the huge misunderstanding that has occurred." Arthit slowly slipped his hand out of his husband's grip.

"Is it true that you agreed to marry only because of the offering advantage for both of the parties?" first question stroke without any sense of hesitation from the asking person.

"No, that is not true. We wouldn't need to marry for such an agreement to happen." Kongpop answered calmly while feeling uneasy inside. A lot was at stake for both of them, their reputation and companies could be easily ruined. For an unknown reason, Arthit let go of his hand which made him lose the inner calmness he managed to maintain.

"Mr. Arthit is the co-owner of the Prachaya Company now, is that correct?"

"It is, although it doesn't make the slightest difference in our relationship." Kongpop answered again, wondering why the questions were going this direction.

"You got married on the 28th of January. It was confirmed that you two broke up with your girlfriends on that day. What was the reason for the sudden and simultaneous break-up?" Arthit grabbed his man's hand again upon hearing that question.

"Where did you get that from?" Arthit asked back this time, slowly firing himself up. Kongpop squeezed his hand twice as a signal to stop and calm down.

"Are you denying it?"

"We're not, my husband was just curious. I believe you already have versions and causes of our breakups but I will still state it briefly. My ex-girlfriend told me she is pregnant and knowing I couldn't be the father, there was nothing left to discuss. P'Arthit's ex-girlfriend cheated on him." Kongpop regained his posture again.

"You were the ones who cheated first, why are you positioning yourself as a victims?" A familiar woman's voice shouted.

Mary.

Kong only smiled before answering the question.

"I've never said we had a physical relationship before our breakups. We were simply in love but tried to resist it and settle down with a girl, have family and forget about each other. It was only a coincidence that we ended our relationships at the same time." Kongpop explained calmly. "We both planned to propose but as it failed, we took it as a sign to be together and don't resist anymore, which resulted to our sudden and unplanned marriage."

What a natural actor. Arthit thought upon hearing all those words. It sounded very believable and simple.

"Can you prove it?" The same question as last time was asked.

"I'm not sure if I understand," Kongpop replied, starting to feel anxious.

"Can you prove that all of this isn't just an act and that the rumors aren't true?"

There was a short silence during which Kong's brain cells worked to the fullest. He was expecting to get this question but didn't prepare himself as much as he should. He really hoped it won't be asked.

"You know that you're innocent until proven guilty? Aren't you the ones who has to prove us wrong?" Arthit asked, having enough. Mary and Kongpop's family were there, watching them closely. They were all like predators alongside with the press, waiting for them to say something they can attack. The question 'How are we supposed to prove it?' was one of those openings.

"But the evidence about your companies' contract and lack of affection towards each other already plead you guilty." Someone argued back.

"I hope you realize that you're being very rude and inappropriate. Those are just your pure conspiracies and statements." Is it time? Arthit thought and his heart started to beat faster. "We haven't done anything illegal and if you're looking for a scandal, there isn't one for you to find."

I'm your husband... and I love you. Arthit felt like the temperature dropped at least ten degrees and caused him to shiver, yet his cheeks and insides started to burn. Why did he think about it now? He quickly glanced at Kongpop who was also waiting for him to proceed talking.

No matter what, remember it.

Arthit smirked as he got his nerves under control again.

"Lack of affection towards each other, you said? If you want that proof so badly..." He once again let go of Kongpop's hand and turned to him. Kong gave him a questionable look as he sensed the change of the atmosphere. "...here it is." Arthit grabbed his husband's tie and pulled him closer.

How could I ever forget something like that, you fool...

Their lips gently crushed together.

...I love you too.
