Chapter Twelve

Hayes POV 

I was determined to get Jackie back, especially now that Nash isn't in the way. I knew the way she walked to bring the groceries in the kitchen and I stood in the door way. She walked in with Megan and Matt laughing, but the moment they all saw me, their goofy smiles fell.  "excuse me." Jackie said politely trying to navigate around me. I stepped and front of her "Not until we talk." I grabbed the grocies from her arms and set them down on the floor, grabbing her by her waist and slinging her over my shoulder. "Get off of me!" She screamed, hitting my back as hard as she could. I still carried her into my room, locking the door behind us. She heard the lock and fear hit her. A tear rolled down her face "Please don't do anything." She said in horror as she backed against the wall. I walked into her and she gaurded her face with her hands. I moved them away and and smiled at her. "I would never ever hurt you on purpose." She relaxed a bit, but was still precocious. "You never gave me a chance to explain." I whined. "I thought it was you." She propped her head to the side, squinting in confusion. "I was wasted, and I was hoping that would be our night. I was pulled in their and I thought it was you." "You done yet?" She questioned me. "Yeah." She walked away and unlocked the door, letting herself out, and slamming it behind her. 

Taylor POV

I heard someone run up the stairs and knock on my door. "Taylor?" A quiet, sad voice said. I ran to the door to open it, and when I did there was a sad little Jackie there. "What happened babe?" (A/N no he's not interested Taylor just likes calling people babe.) "Can I come in?" She asked while shifting her view down the hall. I gestured inside and she walked in and sank down against the door. She shook her head and looked up at me. "I'm so confused." "What's wrong? Tell doctor Tay all about it." I grabbed her hand and brought her to the couch. "So you know how Hayes cheated and Shawn caught them. And when they told me I just jumped all over Shawn and then Hayes tells me he thought it was me and then there's Nash who's so cute and awkward and everything is so wrong." She panted after talking so fast. I stared at her in the eyes "You really don't need anyone. Leave it alone for a while and whoever is still here after that is the one." She grabbed me and pulled me in for a hug "Thank you so much." "No problem, I take cash, credit and BJ's." She laughed and pranced out of the room.

Shawn POV 

I'm not completely sure what's happening here. I really love her and last night was great. I just don't know if that was serious or all fun. Jackie walked into the living room, giving me a smile and walking over to Megan. My question was answered. I walked away and into the basement to think. I heard small footsteps come up behind me and play with my hair. My eyes closed and I almost moaned (Literally the result of just playing with my hair.) I turned around and there was Jackie. "Fleeing?" she asked me. "I'm confused." "Yeah me too.." she said looking down. What did she mean? Obviously sensing my wondering she continued "I can't choose. Me and you obviously have this thing going, but so do me and Hayes. Nash too. I just- I need some time." Looking in her eyes I grabbed her face and pressed my lips on hers, but she soon backed up. "I can't Shawn." She said shakily, running back up the stairs.

I just stood there, the taste of strawberries on my lips and a void in my mind. I was in awe. I was going to do anything and everything in my power to win this.

Jackie POV 

I walked outside to find Nash on the phone. He looked up and winked at me and then looked back down. Hell. Why was I surrounded by babes. Nevertheless they're all so sweet. I went on a walk to clear things up. By the time I had decided that I was gonna give them all 2 days each, and we'll see how it works. I know, slutty move. I had to figure this out though. I wasn't planning on telling them, because I knew they would all go over the top with presents. I would just spend 2 days with each of them. Shawn first.
