I take a taxi to the closest tattoo parlor I can find with one of the credit cards that Josh gave me. He said he doesn't mind me using his money so I'm going to use that to my advantage.

"Thank you." I tell the taxi driver and give him a few extra pounds as a tip.

"Thank you." He nods at me. "Do you need me to wait? This isn't a very safe place." He says looking around the abandoned street.

"No." I smile at him. He hands me a card before I can step out.

"Just call me if you need to be picked up, alright darling." he tells me with a smile before I climb out of the cab. I look around the street and hug my oversized sweatshirt to my chilled skin. A bell rings when I open the glass door to the tattoo parlor and a man covered in tattoos and piercings comes out from another room.

"How can I help you?" he asks. He looks really intimidating but his voice is mostly soft surprisingly.

"I would like a tattoo of a name." I tell him shyly.

"What's your name? And the name you want done?" he asks.

"My name is Alora. And you are?" I ask in return. He smiles as me and holds out his hand for me to shake.

"Eric Damon at you service Miss Alora." He jokes in a fake proper voice that makes me laugh. "What's the name you would like done?" he asks as he nods his head to lead me back into the back room where there is a table for drawing and a bed for me to lie on when I get it done. He motions for me to sit on the bed while he goes over to the table to lean on the table to look at me.

"Aspen." I answer. He is silent for a few minutes before he starts drawing.

"Do you want it to look messy or neat or flowy? Do you have any idea what you want it to look like?" he asks and look up to me with his light blue eyes.

"Surprise me? I think it would be cool if it was nerdy." I explain. "If that makes any sense."

"Of course it does!" he says and continues drawing. "Who's name is it?" He inquires making a lump grow in my throat as he dreams slowly. I clear my throat and blink back tears before answering.

"My daughter. I lost her a few weeks ago." I tell him and look away as he looks up.

"I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad you came here though. Getting a tattoo is better than taking your pain and sorrow out on your skin as cuts." He says and smiles at his work before looking up and brings the paper over to me. He puts the paper in my lap and when I see what he did, my breath catches.

The letters of the name are like those in The Lord of the Rings movies with three dots over the 'a' and the 'e'.

"It's perfect." I say as tears fill my eyes and look up to him with a smile before I run a finger under my eye to catch a tear as it falls.

"I'm glad you like it. Where do you want it?" he asks and goes over to the table again to get some black ink. He pulls a chair over next to the bed I am sitting on.

"On my hip." I say and blush. He laughs at my blush but comes over to me anyways.

"It's nothing to be embarrassed about. I've tattooed more inappropriate places." He tells me as he sets up the machine that will be giving me the tattoo. "You're going to need to pull down your jeans though. At least as far as you're comfortable with and as long as I can reach the place you want." He tells me. I blush but stand to pull my jeans down to the middle of my thighs before I immediately sitting back down and turning on my side towards him. My face is beet red when he looks down at me. He swallows before he talks. "Where do you want it?" he asks as he stares at my hips.
