Skylar's pov
I ran through my front yard as it started to rain lightly but I didn't really care as I just got back from a mission not to long ago. I see a figure on the front porch I freak out at first but then I relax when I see that it's just my dad

"Hello father" I said pulling my hood when I stepped onto the porch then I remove the bandana covering my mouth and nose

"Hello Skylar" he says kind of sadly which confuses me cause he never calls me Skylar unless he's upset but not alot upsets him

"What's wrong father?" I asked stepping into the house with him following not that far behind me

"I think he should tell you" he says pointing to the roof I slowly look up and see......Mentor Altair?!

"Me, Ezio, and Connor want you, one of our best assassin's, to steal the Declaration of Independence and see if the Colonial Templars left a map to their decades old treasure that belongs to the people" he says I release the breathe I didn't even know I was holding. They must trust me greatly cause Altair doesn't give just anyone missions personally even if he is their Mentor. I bow to him respectfully

"I'll leave as soon as possible Mentor" I say he nods and leaves and I go upstairs to my room and pack a bag with essentials like extra clothes, phone, money, a few daggers, and a few extra bandanas because I don't want a repeat of my last mission I then throw the bag onto my back and walk down the stairs into my family room where my Dad waited for me I smiled and went up to him. He pulled me into a hug

"Be safe" he whispered to me so quietly I almost didn't hear it I looked him in the eye and put my hands on his shoulder

"I'll try but no promises" I say he smiles and shakes his head

"Your trying better bring you back" he warns I smile and nod then I leave free running through the patch of trees that surround my house I make it to a path that I take to a nearby city where I bought a map. After looking at the map I decided which direction to go towards but first I needed to go get a friend to help me so I headed off towards his house which was close to a liquor store but I don't question it at all really cause I would to if I could.........but my dad won't let me move out but speaking as in my field of work you make a lot of enemies that's acceptable. I walk up the few stairs up his porch and smelled around......Vodka. That's a smell this place has always smelled of as long as I've known him I take a deep breath and hope he'll help or else this will be way harder I go up and knock

'Watch out Templars' was my last thought before someone on the other side answered.
