Nate's pov
I was watching TV and drinking the half empty bottle of vodka that was in my hands when I hear a knock at my door I sigh annoyed and leaned back
"WHO IS IT!!" I yelled not wanting to get upfrom my spot on the couch
"IT'S SKYLAR!!" the voice replied I froze if she's here then that means..............missions and money
"Coming, coming hang on!" I say knowing she would leave if I took too long I jump over the back of the couch and run over to the door then I open it and there stood my assassin partner
"What's the mission Sky?" I asked her she rolled her eyes and sighs as I let her inside
"Altair, Ezio, and Connor wants us to steal the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE" she says I smile at the thought of a difficult mission that will take some time to complete
"And Altair gave me the mission personally" she adds I smile knowing it's rare for The Altair to personally give missions to even his best assassins so he must believe that me and Skylar could do this mission
"Finally a tuff mission" I said excited she smiles and nods happily she pulls down her hood and goes out into my kitchen and grabs the Jack Daniels I keep in my kitchen for when she comes over
"Yeah rough missions are hard to come across aren't they?" She says pulling out a fresh bottle I nod and go up to my room and grab a empty backpack and placed it on my desk then I went around the room to collect what I'll need which was my laptop, phone, wallet, feather for the proof of kill just in case we get an extra mission, and some of my vodka that I leave in a mini fridge then I placed them all in the backpack then I it put on my back and went downstairs and saw Skylar she seemed ready to leave
"Ready to leave Sky?" I asked her she nods and picks up her bag and we left I locked to door behind me cause I know I'm coming back here and I dont need anything stolen we went to the bus stop and looked at the bus map we talked about which one to take to get where and I pointed to one
"This one takes us near a cafè where I can use the laptop to find like hotels and even the declaration after it's not on display" I say she nods and we wait for it to pull up and when it does we hop on and find a seat
"Wonder what awaits us?" Sky asked me I smiled and nodded then I pulled my vodka bottle out she pulled a Jack Daniels bottle out and we opened them and took a sip and we just sat and laughed at different things. Then when the bus stopped we hopped off and started towards a cafè smiling
'Here we go' I thought as we walked into the cafè.
