Skylar's pov
Katie drove out of the city I go to the window and open it then I lean out and throw one of my throwing knives and cut one of their tires then once we were far from the city they pulled out a gun and shot out our back tires which caused the truck to drag behind us
"Shit ok drive into that field!" I demanded at Katie she looked confused but did it anyway speaking as no-one else had any other ideas. When she did it broke the front doors and the back doors doors and they wouldn't open so I kicked open the back door and crawled out
"Come on!" I snapped Anro grabs the Declaration and we all got out and ran through the field then I heard a loud gunshot. I turn around just in time to see Arno throw me the Declaration I caught it and went to help him up while he withered around in pain from the gunshot wound on his leg
"End of the line" Charles Lee growled as he walked over I stood my ground in front of Arno then I closed my eyes as another gunshot went off.......I peek open my eye and saw I was fine
"Get the hell away from my kids Lee!" I hear a familiar male voice say and the Templars glare but run
"Skylar, Arno are you two ok?" The voice ask my ears still slightly ringing
"No Arno got shot!!!" I said then dad ran over and helped me help Arno up as he groans in pain
"Alright kiddos follow me" he says as me and him help Arno to the house they nod and we all leave them following behind us
*at the house*
"Ok so here's our bag of normal clothes take turns changing into the bathroom over there" I say they nod and line up at the bathroom door while I walk over to my dad over in the living room door frame
"That it?" He whispers pointing to the container that I leaned against the couch that Aeno was laying on I nod
"Yeah the other people helped and we haven't tested anything" I whisper back he nods looking at a text from Nate probably filling him in. I looked into the living room at Arno who's out cold on the couch with his leg patched up
"He'll live. He's been through worse during training" dad says just loud enough for me to hear it I nod and watch as the others walk out in normal clothes then dad looks at me and does a double take
"Sweetie...........what are you wearing??" He asked me I crossed my arms and glare at Arno
"Arno made me so he better make it so I can kill him" I growl before going up to my room
Arno's pov
I opened my eyes and saw the group and......Dad?!
"Dad?" I ask sitting up he nods and everything flashed through my head
