The Kidnapping?!

Arno's pov
We walked back home slowly as her head injury could attract the wrong attention if we move to quickly. I helped patched Skylar's head up after I helped her onto the couch in the living room but she was annoyed cause she hates being coddled when she's injured she feels like sometimes people make bigger deals about the injuries then they actually are and she's partially right and I'm sometimes push it when she's injured but I'm the older twin it's my job to protect her.

"Guess Wall street can wait for a little bit" I say and that cause he to pout which makes me hold in a laugh cause she almost never pouts but I'm one of the few people that notice it when she does the others are Desmond, Nate, dad, most likely Jacob, and Evie.

"Oh stop your damn pouting Sky it's only for today you can work on the mission tomorrow" I say but finally stop holding my laugh in cause I know that Sky hates being hurt because it causes her missions to be held back for while.

"Big bro what happened to big sis?" The 14 year old twins Jacob and Evie asked their emerald green eyes holding concern I sighed and looked at them.

"I'm fine you two, alright?" Skylar says to her younger siblings while bringing them into a side hug they nod and hug her back snuggling into her side curled up beside her on the couch.

"Alright it's late so let's head to bed. Jacob or Evie you can use my bed and room for a little if you want ok? At least until we get your rooms set up" Skylar says to everyone who nods and leaves to their rooms while I start heading up the stairs I look back and see her staring at the roof I smile sadly. Then I head up to my room leaving her downstairs alone which probably isn't a good idea she'll probably find a way to work on the mission overnight while we sleep.

Skylar's pov
I watched as they walked up so I laid back down on the couch and stared at the roof in silence for a few minutes before I sat up with a sigh I started trying to think of ways to continue working on this mission. I looked at the box that hasn't left the table since we walked in, but no-one touched it as we didn't know what it was, so I moved to where my legs sat over the edge of the couch and I picked the box up and picked up the note that was on top seeing it had my name written on it. It was written in some Native American language I knew it was Mentor Connor as he's the only one that writes in those languages...well now...ok seriously I need to focus on the mission at hand I can wallow in self pity afterwards.

We got word that you have progressed farther then any other assassins that we sent could have so we decided to send you the second clue we got just in case you need it and Altair won't say to you but he's also pretty...I don't know the right word...proud? Of how you're handling running into Lee.

I always liked it when Mentor Connor wrote the letters as he was blunt and told things how it was with a side of playfulness while Mentor Ezio was almost always playful and Mentor Altair was always serious. I sighed and opened the box and found the pipe from the 'Charlotte' that due to my access on this mission I know was the second place that the first clue lead us to. I smiled softly, putting the note back in the box, closed the box, and put it in my bag that's on the rafters then I hopped down and went to sleep while looking at the bag.

*the next morning*

I woke up and when I opened my eyes I saw that I was on the rafters...wait did I not hop down? Guess I didn't could've sworn I did though but oh well. I jumped down and looked at the clock on the wall...damn about midday I slept in today didn't I? Oh well I feel fine my head doesn't hurt either...wonder where everyone is if it's midday I walked into the kitchen and went to the fridge and opened the door and looked through it and found some apples which I decided that I was to lazy to make anything so apples it is.

"You know what this'll have to do" I say picking up one of the apples and threw it in the air and caught it just as easily while I did that I could hear the door open and close they must've been outside but who am I to judge. Then just as soon as I was about to bite into the apple.

"SKYLAR!!" Arno yells from behind me and I turned around uneaten apple in hand and look at my brother.

"What you idiot! I'm getting food is that wrong just cause I'm hurt doesn't mean I can't walk a few feet to get food!" I yell back annoyed, cause when I'm hurt he tries doing everything for me which annoys me cause sometimes the injuries aren't even that bad, as a response only to get tackled to the ground by Arno I protected the apple in hand cause I was still hungry.

"Where have you been?" Arno growls out the demand at me I sigh and look at him like he's crazy cause he was the one that was outside when I woke up

"On the rafters sleeping why? Cause you were the one that was outside when I woke up!" I asked he just looks at me like I was crazy.

"Cause I thought you got your stupid ass kidnapped!" he snaps I stare at him did he have so little faith in not only me but him, dad, Nate, Jacob, and Evie someone would of heard me if I got kidnapped.
