Part 14

We were back home and before I could get to the door chase was already questioning me. My whole family, my pack was upset with me. I want to feel regret, but I didn't feel anything, regret, sadness, anger? Nothing, chase grabbed my arm and made me face him. He had this serious and angry tone.

"Answer me Damian! Why did you ditch us, were your pack!"

"Because Chase, because of Aiden and you, Annabella, Jeremy all have been put in danger!"

"We are family, we protect each other!" "Your supposed to be next in line for Alpha, you cant act like this!"

"Shut up! You don't have to deal with the stress of knowing your mate can die any minute, just because you held his hand!"

"My mate died four years ago! Dammit you over exaggerated everything!"

I wanted to continue but I was furious. I finally noticed that my hair was standing on end and my eyes had changed. I felt horrible, so I just ran inside the house. I ran straight up to my room. I fell to the side of my bed, and I just cried.

Then the door nocked...

"What do you want!"

"This is my room too you know."

It was Aiden. I got up and opened the door. He came in and I just sat next to the bed. He fell down beside me and wrapped his arms around me. I wrapped my arms around him and turned and rested my head on his shoulder. I missed holding him and being in his arms. For a second I almost forgot everything.

"Dont stress over this Damian, I know we can do this."

"He wants me to become Alpha, Aiden I dont think I can do that, im not strong enough."

"What are you talking about? We just chaced you three or four miles and only Jeremy who was at the time your alpha, was the only one to get to you!" "Your strong"

Just then I scream of rage was heard outside. The voice sounded furious and demanding. We both got up and ran acrossed the room. We peaked outside the window to try and see. There in plain view stood a man in a black leather coat. He had yellow eyes, which meant he was a werewolf.

"Damian! Come out here so I can kill you!"

His voice sounded so angry. Ive never seen someone that angry. How could he hate me that much?

Then I saw Jeremy step outside. I started to panic I tried to run out of the room but Aiden stopped me.

"Let me go, I have to save Jeremy!"

"You cant go out there let him solve this! He is trying to protect you!"

"No he could die!"

"He wont, just sit here!"

Aiden left the room and I heard him run downstairs. I ran after him and we both ran outside. I raced over as I saw Jeremy laying on the ground. I fell onto the ground and picked jeremy off the ground his face was pale. Tears quickly flooded my eyes as they turned.

"Fuck!" "Jeremy come on wake up!" "Jeremy please!"

          Aiden kneeled down next to me as I cried my eyes out. Aiden tried a couple time to pull me off and away from Jeremy but I just refused. Everyone was there but didnt do anything. How could they it was a challenger from what they told. Jeremy said he was alpha and pretended to be me. Why the hell did he do that! Why?

Aiden pov

          I felt so bad for Damian. I could never relate to what he is feeling. I couldnt do anything but sit there with him trying to ignore the scent of blood from Jeremy's courpse. I hid my face into his shoulder asking for us to go inside.
