Part 10: Broken Hearts

          He walked forward from the brush. Grinning as he came closer.

"When I was created, i hated myself!" "Then I realized the power I now have, and Im not giving it up!"

"What, who made you!"

"That's not your concern, im only here because i was hired to bring you head back to him!"

"Him?" "At Least tell me your name dammit!"

"My name is Malachi! I am your undoing!"

          Before I could say another word his hand was on my throat and a dagger shoved into my stomach. Immense pain flooded my body as I screamed out, caughing up blood. He was right in my face laughing, I could see his fangs. His eyes had pure evil. Veins appeared around his eyes, and his nails grew on his fingers.

"Im gonna enjoy watching you bleed. I can hear and smell you heartbeat and blood running through your body."

"F-f-fuck, you!"

His dagger went deeper into me as tears ran down my face.

"You wont get away with this!"

"Stupid worm, I already have, this is silver and that means you cant move and cant heal!"

          My eye sight started to go blurry and I felt extremely weak. Then out of nowhere he was thrown off of me and into a tree. And standing in front of me was Chase. He was in wolf form, pure black fur with golden eyes. I never got to see him as a wolf. I coughed up more blood as I fell to the side. Before I landed to the ground I felt a hand catch me. It was Jeremy crying out.

"No no no, Damian, what the hell happened!"

Annabella landed beside me immediately applying pressure to the wound.

"Fuck Annabella how deep is it!"

"Deep enough! Im gonna wrap it go help Chase!"

          My eyes were no longer open. I could here a metal box being opened and something being wrapped around my wound and then tighten. It hurt a lot my eyes shot right back open. That's when I saw Aiden arrive, running straight for Malachi. The three of them attack Malachi at once. Malachi taking punches and throwing them, but they kept getting up. As my eyes started to close I saw Jeremy being held in the air while Aiden charged from behind and Chase charge from the front. The everything went black...

          I dont know how long I was out but I saw Jeremy lying on the other side of a smashed tree to the right, and Aiden breathing heavily holding his left arm, and chase on one knee. Annabella trying to get up off the floor.

"None of you are close to beating me, im a mix of your species. My strength and speed are increased with both of your powers. You are as good as dead!"

"Shut the hell up!"

          I snapped not even noticing I was standing. My eyesight was still slightly blurry and I was dizzy with a possible concussion. Something made me get up, I couldnt let my family die like this. If they die I die with them fighting till our last breath. I walked up to Chase and Aiden while resting my hand on my wound my eyes bright gold. Malachi laughed as he pulled out his dagger still having my blood on it. He charged at us, none of us even able to respond before he slammed to the ground and slashing Chase in the back. I heard chase letting out a scream as he fell to his knees with his one good arm trying reaching back to try and touch the wound.

          Aiden tried to punch Malachi but he dodged the punch striking him in the gut. I slowly struggled to me feet. Malachi looked at me before running to me at a normal speed. Right before he stiked me someone slammed into him causing him to hit his back against a tree.

"You bastard, Aiden was my son!"

          I looked up to see Kalmin standing infront of me. I never thought I would be happy to see him. He lunged forward punching Malachi in the face sending him to the ground. Before he could strike again Malachi grabbed his hand throwing him in the air. Kalmin spung landing on his feet.

"Ill make you pay for what youve done!"

"Dont make me laugh!"

Then jeremy walked up next to Kalmin breathig heavily.

"Guess were working together?"

          They both charged at Malachi with Kalmin changing direction throwing Malachi off guard letting Jeremy punch him in the gut. Then kalmin tripped Malachi and annabella out of nowhere in wolf form slams into Malachi pinning him into the ground. Malachi let out a scream before grabbing Annabella and throwing her against a tree. Annabella let out a whine at contact with the tree before blacking out. Aiden then rushed over punching him in the back of the head. Malachi tried to turn around but kalmin grabbs both of his arms while Aiden punched Malachi, but malachi moves his head to the side. Making Aiden punch Kalmin in the face. Forcing him to let go. Malachi then repeatedly begins punching Aiden in the face before Aiden falls to the ground.

          Then something happened. I couldnt take it anymore, I snapped and without trying I was forced to transform. I charged at malachi full speed. He tries to grabb me but I dodge to the side jumping up and I lunged into him sinking my teeth into his shoulder. He let out a painful scream as I felt the taste of his blood in my mouth. He fell to the ground with my jaws still biting down on his shoulder. He started to punch me in the head, and he didnt stop. But I kept biting him as hard as I could before biting his arm that was punching me. He let out another scream as I head the bones in his hand snap. He then threw me off of him and my body slammed into the ground. I rowled up quickly and before I could attack Jeremy jumps onto Malachi's back choking him.

"G-get off of me, let me go!"

          I could see Jeremy's yellow eyes as he snapped Malachi's neck and then letting his body fall to the ground. Jeremy slowly looked up at me before passing out and falling to the ground. I rushed past Jeremy and too Aiden while Annabella rushed to Jeremy. Using my head I moved Aiden over seeing his face all bloody. It made me cry to see him like this. Kalmin then rushed over and fell to the other side picking Aiden up and crying with him in his arms.

"No! My boy, my sweet baby boy!"

          He yelled out for him to wake up while his face flooded with tears. I walk up to Aiden as I licked his wounds. Then Kalmin pushed me back away making me yelp.

"Youve done enough, leave us alone!"

          My ears went back as I whined and slowly turned around. This was all my fault, I ran into the forest and didnt stop running. I ran until I couldnt run. And then I walked while tears ran down my face and until I couldnt walk. I then passed out in a meadow, with no clue were I was...
