Part 17: a change of plans

          The three of us made it home. Annabella and Sebrina still weren't back yet. So we went back into the house. We waited for them to come back while we thought of a plan to get him without causing a scene. Aiden offered to walk into town, he could then watch the mutts movements. Before that we would be in wolf form sniffing for him. Using side streets and the outside of town. With Aiden inside we could find him a lot easier. So that's what were gonna go with. I didn't see an easier way, even though I didn't agree it was are only option. I just wish someone else could be on the inside. Someone I didn't care so deeply about. But there wasn't anyone...

Sebrina POV

We found five outfits I liked and even Annabella found two she liked. One of the outfits was a side biker style jacket, with dark washed almost grey skinny jeans. For the shirt there were two, a silk, floral, short sleeve that had flowers exploded around the shirt. I would have to wear an undershirt though, as it was silk and light in color. The other one was a black sleeveless turtleneck. It felt amazing! That was probably my favorite two outfits that i would wear quite a bit.

          It was great spending time with her. Once we were done shopping I told her my story and she told me hers. About her being brought in by Jeremy. How he saved her from another mutt. He raised her ever since...

We walked out of the store together laughing at some random guy we saw. Security had to drag him. He came in with nothing but underwear screaming. Neither of us understood what it was, we were too busy laughing. We started to walk down the street and we finally started to calm down. We were passing by this diner when this man walked up to the door. He stopped to look at us. One of his eyes had a scratch wound. He was wearing black distressed jeans and a black button up longsleeved shirt. The sleeves were rolled up. He smiled at us before walking in. Annabella tugged on my shirt and asked for us too start going, now. I looked at her and agreed and we headed out of town. We tried to hurry without causing suspicion. Once we got out of town we were at a dead sprint. I almost thought his sent was that of wolf blood. Thats how we tell each other apart. People like us, weather its if were born like this, or bitten. Are dna is different or changed. Some of it human, other wolf. Some have more human which makes them into this monster. They can stand on two legs and are extremely agressive and dumb. Damian pov

We were all getting ready. Chase was upstairs getting ready. I dont know why he needed too. Aiden and I were going over a map of the town. I was smiling at him or smerking what ever you call it. I should be helping him but I couldnt. I couldnt get my eyes off of him.

"Are you ever gonna look at the map?"

I let out a slight laugh. I looked at the map. I went over one last time were we were all gonna start and were he will be. I looked at him and told him that he better be safe, to not do anything dumb. He looked at me with a smile and walked around the small table we had pulled out. He pulled me in for a hug kissing my neck.

"Dont worry babe, I aint going anywhere."

While he was kissing me a loud scream was heard outside our house. It sounded like Annabella and Sebrina. Aiden immediately ran out the door. I chased after him. We saw Sebrina and Annabella running and screaming. Behind them I saw that man chasing them, that same fucking man that killed Jeremy. I quickly sped up removing my shirt.

"GET DOWN!"

I jumped right over then I felt my eyes change and my body quickly changing. My bones shifting, my hairs on my body change. to fur. I jumped right down infront of the man. I was ready to spill his blood. My teeth were bared and my ears back. Ive never wanted to kill anyone, but at that moment. I wasnt gonna let him live.

The man started clapping after his surprised look went away. He smiled at me and looked me dead in the eye. His eyes were black.

"Is that all you got?"

He unbuttoned his shirt and once he took it off his face filled with pain. I could hear his bones begin to move and what sounded like breaking. He let out a scream as he fell to the ground while his limbs and bones shifted. His muscel mass grew and his head became more of a wolf. His fur grew in and he pulled himself to his feet using a nearby tree that was only two feet away. I could see the claws on his hands grow and his teeth become sharper and his canine teeth grew. His fur was black. And his eyes went completely white. He stood up with him baring his teeth. His drewle dripped from his mouth as he walked forward. I got ready to jump at him but Aiden ran straight into the side of him. It almost nocked it down but it quickly recovered grabbing Aiden by the back of the neck. It lifted aiden in the air and thats when I got the chance. Before it could do anything I jumped, biting my teeth into his arm. He released aiden making him fall to the ground. He grabbed me with his other arm throwing me in the air. I spung and landed on my feet charging immediately. When he went to swing at me I dodged it making it behind him. I jumped up and bit into his neck. I tasted blood in my mouth but barely. His skin was ruff, my teeth barely made it. He let out a growl before slamming his back into a tree. I let out a yelp as I felt my leg shatter as I released my grip on his neck. I fell to the ground as he quickly spung around with his hand up ready to finish me. Then I saw Chase in wolf form jump onto his back biting on his neck. The thing let out a terrifying sound before throwing Chase off of him. Chase slammed into the group and let out a yelp. Chase couldnt move, the thing walked over too him. It suddenly collapsed unto its knees before looking to me with blood dripping from its mouth. Then I saw his eyes go to black before it fell to the ground. Aiden ran over to me. He was freaking out but I couldnt make out any words. My hearing blurred out and my eyes shut. I woke up in my bed. I quickly looked over and saw Aiden sleeping in the chair acrossed the room. I tried to get up but a pain shot up my leg. I let out a scream as Aiden rushed over.

"Stop, lay down, your leg is shattered. You need rest!"

"Wheres Chase! Is he Okay?"

"Hes fine, you need to rest!"

I layed back and sighed as I closed my eyes.

"Is it dead?"

"Yes, i burned its body."

"What was that thing?"

"Sebrina called it a hybrid or lycan. She said that her pack alpha's brother was one. That the Alpha had to put the brother down. Thats why he treated the rest of pack so badly."

"Fuck, why didnt Jeremy ever tell us!"

"Lets not worry about that just rest!"

"Please, just, atleast lay with me, I miss that."

Aiden looked at me and sighed. He said he didnt want to hurt me. I told him he wont, and to get in the bed. After a few seconds of starring at me he got in the bed and layed there. I fell back asleep with me holding his hand...
