Part 22: Engaged

          Its been two months and nothing has happened. Im starting to think that Jeremy was wrong, or that it wasn't real. Things were actually looking up. Aiden and I were planning on getting married this Saturday. Im so excited, Aiden proposed to me yesterday and it was so sweet! I showed him the spot I went to at the lake. We were just talking and looking out to the sun coming up. I honestly should've seen it coming, it was a cliche spot at that time. I was gonna tell him about Jeremy  then he Leaned in to kiss me. I mean I wasn't about to pull away and not let it happen. While he kissed me he told me he had a surprise and that's when he kneeled down on one knee. When he did that I didn't want to believe it. I almost ran away at that point. When we started dating I never thought it would get to this point. After a minute of being speechless and shocked at what's happening I finally said yes. It was a silver wedding band that he put on my ring finger. I reminded him of the silver and that we will need to find a different mineral to use as I smiled. He smiled and realized what I meant. I would still wear it of course until we can get it changed! Then I kissed him with excitement when I thought about it again. But nothing could stay normal. We werent normal anyways, not even fully human...

So today was the big day! It wasnt gonna be anything special. It costed alot but my pack pitched in to help pay for it. I could never thank them enough for what they do for me and Aiden. Josiah and his pack were gonna be there.

Josiah and there pack have gotten really close since my initiation thing. It was almost like we were one big pack. Kalmin Ross was also gonna be there with Ellana and his youngest daughter Luna. Hopefully Ellana wont cause anything...

I wanted to have it at the spot on the lake. I thought it would look perfect. There is always different birds flying and singing. It would be great! Josiahs pack and mine were helping set up the chairs and the little decorations we had. Then Chase told me that I should go and get dressed. So I agreed and ran back to the house with Annabella. She knew more about the whole dressing thing than me. I couldnt ask Aiden as he wasnt aloud to see me I guess and I couldnt see him...

          When we got back to the house and inside,  Annabella stopped me and told me to take a shower while she looked for a tuxedo. I gave her a discussted look before taking off to the shower. I could hear her rage as she threatened to throw her shoes at me. I just laughed while I walked into my room. I got the bow tie I wanted and my dress shoes that I dont wear often. I went to the shower were Annabella was dropping of the tuxedo.

"This was the best I could find..."

"Thats okay."

          It was a black Tuxedo. I smiled and looked at her "your showing how to put that damn thing on!" She laughed and said sure while leaving the bathroom. I shut the door after she left and turned on the water. I like to take warm showers not too cold, but not too hot were it could boil my skin either. I took of my clothes and walked into the shower. It was a walk in shower with a glass door. It had the option to pour from the cieling to mimic rain but I prefer the shower head. I turned on some music before turning on the shower. I grabbed my shampoo bottle from the rack and poured some into my hand. A smile escaped my face as I couldnt stop thinking of what Aiden is gonna look like all dressed up. Waite who is gonna walk down the ile? I finished with the shampoo and moved onto the conditioner. I used a little more conditioner because it made my hair really soft. Whos last name will be kept? Ill probably think up more questions if I keep thinking about it. Once I had the conditioner washed out I grabbed my body wash putting it onto a washrag. I washed my body while thinking about what happened before all this. What life was like before I met Aiden or Kalmin. When Jeremy was still around. It was easy then, some boring dumb guy challenges for Alpha, loses, I see some entertainment and then go for a run to relax and go to school and hang with Clare. Speaking of Clare I hope she is doing alright. She is gonna kill me when I finally return to school, or if I do at all. Eh its my last year anyways...

          I rinsed the soap off and got out of the shower to dry off. I used just a plain white towel from the cabnet we kept our towels in. Once I was dried I started to put on my clothes. Once I got to the shirt I began buttoning it while I called for Annabella "bell I need your help now!" After a minute Annabella came in the bathroom. She was wearing a burgundy dress that was her mothers before she died. She looked nice in it.

          She picked up the bow tie and lifted up my collar. She then put the tie around my neck were she ties it and then fixed my collar. "There now you look almost complete!" She said while adjusting the bow tie in place. I thanked her and picked up my jacket and put it on. Thats when I looked in the mirror to see how I looked. I actually liked it! I felt like James Bond and Brendon Urie had a child and this was the result. I laughed thinking about it. "Whats so funny Damian?" She said with worry. "Nothing just a joke, ill tell you later."...

I was dressed and ready to go. Everything was set up and the Clergy was ready to wed us. Now we were waiting for Kalmin to tell us that Aiden was ready. Then Ellana walked up to me with this evil sassy look. "Hey there wolf boy!" She said with a grin. I wasnt about to let her ruin my day so I just went with it. "Well isnt it Ellana, so what brings you to talk to me?" I said as calmly as I could. "Nothing just wanted to wish the new Alpha a happy marriage while it lasts!" Now I was starting to get pist. After everything my pack has been through, after almost dying for my pack, for Aiden. She goes and pulls a shitty move like that? "What the hell is that supposed to mean!" I said more agressively. "Your a wolf brat, hes my brother and do you really think Kalmin will let this continue?" She said in a cocky tone. "I dont give a damn about what you have to say, you dont even have to be here right now! Ill love him even if it kills me, like i have been doing for two months straight now!" I almost forgot we were in public because I wanted to blow up. "Rogue wolves and hybrids arent the only thing you have to worry about sweetie." Then before I could say something she was right behind me. She was practically breathing down my neck as she laughed from behind me. I wasnt scared as I was used to vampires with Aiden always trying that, it still shocked me as she was alot faster than Aiden. She turned around and then walked away back to her seat. I sat there alone just standing there thinking about the whole situation. I was pretty much stuck, I didnt know what to do. I wanted to solve the problem here and now but I couldnt. As if she new I couldnt react? Pretty smart to talk shit at a wedding..

Than Kalmin showed up telling everyone Aiden was ready. So I smiled and than walked up by the clergy. He smiled and asked how I was feeling. "Im feeling fine, little nervous but ill be great once this is all said and done." I said calmly. Then people started comming down the ile like normal. Chase, annabella, ect. Then that special music played that I thought id never get to hear. Then I saw kalmin and Aiden walking down the ile. He looked so excited and scared at the same time. I couldnt keep myself from smiling.

When he got down the ile I took his hand and whispered to him "you look amazing!" Which made him laugh slightly. So the Clergy said what he needed to say we exchanged vows and then came putting the ring on each others fingers, which this time mine was gold instead of silver, and the kiss. "I pronounce you husband and husband, you may kiss your spouse." I kissed him while everyone started screaming and cheering sure it was just too packs but that didnt stop me from turning my face into a tomato. I gave Aiden a hug before turning to everyone who all were cheering except for Ellana and Kalmin but you could tell in his face that he didnt agree with it. He just didnt want to cause a scene. Then aiden and I walked down the isle together along with everyone else for the wedding party afterwards. On the way back to the house Josiah walked up to us looking very happy. "Congratulations guys, im very happy for you!" He said excitedly. " thank you for comming Josiah, it means alot!" He smiled and asked if he could hug us, we didnt hesitate we just laughed and both hugged him. "Once the party is over, do you mind if me and my pack stay alittle longer. We wanted to ask something?" We both said yeah thats not a problem and he walked off to join his pack at the house. Aiden and I just took are time taking in whats happened.

"Damian.."

"Yeah whats up?"

"I love you"

I was speechless for a couple of seconds. We havent said that to each other yet. Or atleast he didnt tell that to me yet. I couldnt believe we have never said that to each other really. I smiled and said "I love you too Aiden!" While I rested my head on his shoulder before looking back up.

We got back to the house were everyone was waiting inside. We just used the basement since it was huge and could pass for two living rooms. It was a party area after all, atleast thats what Chase always said. Once we got downstairs we seen people playing games and having a good time. Aiden went to talk to his father and other people and so did I. Well I went to Chase, Sebrina, and Annabella...
