Part 11

I woke up in the meadow confused as to where I was. I have never seen this place before, how far did I run? I could hear the wind breeze blowing the tall grass. It was very calming to listen too. I sniffed the air for anything familiar, nothing. I had to be more than a mile away. I tried to remember what happened. Only flashes hit my mind, seeing Kalmin screaming out with Aiden in his arms, Jeremy being lifted into the air, me being stabbed, then me running. Malachi, he, he ruined everything! Who was he, what was he? I have so many damn questions. I could smell gas from a vehicle just east of were I was at so I jogged towards it.

When I got there it was a house with two kids running in the front yard. One boy and the other a girl. I looked around for anything a map or something. Do anyone still use maps? All that I could see was some clothes hanging over the edge of a railing in the back of the house. It was a white house that clearly had signs of aging. There was a an old truck and black SUV parked along the side of the house. In the back of the house was a bucket with soapy water and clothes hanged up, along with a swing set and swimming pool. I grabbed the clothes and ran back into the meadow to change. When I was in there I transformed back and got dressed. My side from the wound had little pain, which was good. I walked out of the meadow and up to the front yard. The two kids stopped to look at me.

"Could you go get the two adults for me please, I need some small help?"

The two kids looked at each other and got up and ran back inside. One of them looked to be six while the other one apeared to be three. They were smart all right for kids. After two minutes an older man walked out with a shotgun pointed right for me. He was wearing jeans and a flannel shirt that wasnt buttoned up. He had little hair on his hear but had a beard.

"What do you want, he didnt send ya did he?"

"Who?"

"Answer my question what do ya want?"

"I wanted to know if you could tell me where im at im just lost."

"How did you get lost, you look to young to be out here?"

"My family and I got into a fight with this man and I was seperated afterwards, I just need to know and ill be on my way."

My arms were getting tired from holding them up. Guess my strength hasnt came back yet. Silver hurts me that much?

"Come inside."

The man turned around and went back inside. I followed him walking up the few stairs and through the door. When I got inside I saw a kichen and dinning room to the left and living room to the right. There were what seems to be family photos hanged up. The man was sitting in the chair with his gun pointing at me. He was sitting in a leather rocking chair and jesterd to sit on the couch. So I did, I didnt want to start anything. Ive caused enough trouble.

"What did the man look like?"

I took a sigh looking down and then back up to notice the bruises on his neck. I couldnt help but ask what happened when I noticed. He told me that there was this man that walked up to his house pownding on the door. When he answered the man asked about the travic family, he said that he didnt know any family with that last name. He said the man already looked anygry and he had two different eye colors and was well built. He asked again knowing I was lying he said, gripping his gun. He then told me thats when he grabbed his neck lifting him up. Then the man threatened him saying that if he left and he found out, he would kill him and his family. Thats when the man started to cry. I asked whats wrong and he just shook his head.

"That man, he wasnt normal!"

I sighed and explained to him that me and my family were forced into a fight with a man and I described him saying that it was the same man. He then dropped his gun and walked up to me grabbing my shoulders with his hands.
