•.•.•ANGEL'S POV •.•.•
I'm awakened by my persistent alarm clock. I open my eyes to my room....my room.... how did I get into my room? What happened? Last thing I remember was... Being in Jason's room... I think. This is why I don't do mornings.
I get myself ready for my second week of school and go down stairs where I once again smell something delicious. Rey is cooking again, not that I object or anything but why is he constantly cooking? I walk in and greet him.
"Morning." I say and Rey being Rey of course jumps, dude should really be used to this by now.
"Stop sneaking up on me!" he says with his back to me, he was by the counter doing something that was hidden from my line of sight. I wonder where the smells coming from, I don't see anything on the stove.
"I wasn't sneaking up on you." I say, my voice sounding bored. Honestly how many times have I said that?
"I'm making breakfast." He quickly changed the subjects.
"Really? I thought you where ice-skating!" I replie.
"Haha." he replies to my sarcastic remark with even more sarcasm. "Hilarious."
"I know." I say. After a while I decide to ask him about last night, I still don't know how I ended up in my room. "Rey?"
"Yeah?" he replies.
"What happened yesterday? I don't remember coming back here from Jason's." I tell him. He turns around to look at me and starts speaking.
"You fell asleep so-"
He gets inturrupted by my phone ringing, I take it out of my jacket pocket to look at it. Caller I.D says it's Jason so I answer it.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Angel! I need your help!"
That didn't sound like Jason, in fact it sounds more like Dave from chess club.
"Dave?" I ask.
"Yeah! I need your help!"
"What's wrong? Is it Jason?"
Did someone get to him before I could?
"No! I have two girls fighting over me!"
I relax instently.
"And what's wrong with that?" I ask rolling my eyes.
"The ugly one is winning!"
Yep, definitely Dave.
"Dave, really? Just pick the not so ugly one then." I reply slightly amused.
"It's not that easy, I do-" he is cut of and I here mumbling and shuffles.
'No Dave, why take my phone?' I here Jason saying to Dave on the other end. 'Sorry...' I here Dave mumble but can't make out the rest of what he said.
"Hi Angel, sorry about that." Jason apologises.
"It's fine, how're you feeling?"
"A lot better thanks. Oh and Im really sorry I fell asleep, I want to make it up to you-" He says.
"Don't worry about it, I think I did too." I tell him.
"I would still like to make it up to you, I was thinking maybe I could give you and Rey a ride to school..."
I look up to Rey who has turned back to the counter continuing whatever it is he was doing. Would he want to? Should I say no? I should say yes, after all he is probably not going to give up trying to make it up to me... But then again he is not a very persistent person. Ah what the heck, it's just a ride to school. I really don't want to go to school though, it takes away so much time from your day.
