Jason and I are on our way to the park, according to him there's hardly any people that hang out around there which makes it quiet and peaceful. I'm trying to think of ways I can take our 'relationship' to the next level. He needs to be able to trust me before I can get any useful information out of him.

"We're here." Jason announces. We both get out of the car and I see a park with a large pond with over grown grass in some places around it, a large willow tree 3 metres away from the pond.

"I haven't been to this park yet." I say. Whilst I've been looking around, Jason had taken out the picnic basket.

"It's one of four parks in this town. It's kinda my favourite." He tells me.

"What are the other three like?" I ask.

"Well there is actual swings and slides in them which is why they are more popular amongst the children." Is it me or did he sound a bit like a smartass there?

"Is that why this is your favourite, so you can avoid the kids?" I ask jokely.

"No." he says with a smile, ", this is my favourite because it's peaceful when there's hardly any people here....like now." He says then there's a moment of silence as we listen to the gentle breeze blowing through the leaves of the willow tree and making minuscule waves in the pond. We had been walking towards the willow the whole time and I was now closer to the pond, I could see there where ducks in there.

"I like it here." I say. He is laying a blanket under the willow tree for us to sit on then places the picnic basket in the middle. I sit down next to him. "I hope you didn't go all out with this." I tell him.

"Just a few sandwich and snacks and drinks.... and maybe some paper towels... and forks and spoons and knifes... and plates....." He say. ".... oh and dessert." he adds.

"Woah, you didn't have to pack so much." I say.

"Really? I thought I packed too little." I look at him with a slightly shocked look on my face. He is joking right? By the look on his face I don't think he is. "What?"

"Trust me, it's not too little." I say. Then he gives me a perplexed look. Now it's my turn to say "What?"

"Well I just realised I don't know much about you yet I do trust you." He tells me honestly. He trusts me. Good but I don't think he trusts me enough.

"I don't know much about you either."

"Yet you got in my car anyway." he jokes. I laugh.

"Yeah, I guess I trust you too."

"Well that's dangerous next time you should check my I.D or something."

"I'll keep that in mind for next time." I say. It goes quiet as he started unpacking.

He takes out two plates a narrow box with a row of different sandwichs, some bread. a packet of ham, a block of cheese, forks & knifes, two cups, Three different types of drinks and four paper towels. He did go all out.

"Jason..." I start to complain about how much he brought out.

"I wanted to, it was no hassle." He cuts me off. "And I need a way to thank you for the prank." he says.

"Jay, you don't need to thank me. You've already done that." I say but he shrugs it off.

"What's your favourite colour?" he asks suddenly.

"Red why?" I ask a little surprised by his random question.

"I'm trying to get to know you better."
