•.•.•REY'S POV•.•.•
MONDAY
I hear the door close, indicating Angel had left with Justin or Jackson or whatever his name is.
I grab the keys and go to the garage on my own for once. I don't even know if I'm in the mood to go to school but I have to. For this damn mission.
Crap, I'm going to have face Sophie too. Last time I saw her, I cut our make out session short because of Angel. Sophie did not look happy... at all.
I get in the car and breath in and out deeply to prepare myself to face the wrath of Sophie or maybe... hopefully she thought I was just concerned over my 'cousin', she wouldn't get angry at me for that would she?
I back out of the garage and start driving myself to school.
It feels oddly lonely in here. Is it strange I miss having Angel in the car with me? Even if all we do is argue...
I'm ten minuets away from school and I'm starting to get a little bored. Once again I wish Angel was here with me. At least she knows how to keep things interesting.
I really need to stop think about Angel but I have this... feeling... like today something bad is going to happen. Okay, I also need to stop being so paranoid. Maybe I should make a list of 'things not to do'.
------------
It's lunch and I haven't seen Angel all day, where the hell is she? Come to think of it I haven't seen Jason either. Yes, I did remember his name... I think.
"Rey! What are you doing out here?" Natasha says to me. It's now that I realise I'm standing outside the cafeteria doors.
"Oh.. Hi Tasha. Have you seen Angel anywhere?" I ask and it comes out in a much weaker voice than I want it to.
"Awwwww you get so cute when you worry about her." She says and the look on her face makes me feel like she's about to pinch my cheeks or something horrific like that.
I just look at here, because she still hasn't answered the question.
"No, I haven't seen her." she tells me and then drags me into the cafeteria and sits me down next to her around the usual table. There aren't as many people here though.
Some of the jocks give me pats on the back like I did something they approve off or whatever. Wierd.
I look up from the table to see Sophie seated right in front of me. oh no.
"Hey Rey." She greets and she sounded....sweet. there's something wrong here.
"Heeeey." I say, dragging it out slowly.
"How's your cousin?" She asks. Why is everyone always referring to her as my 'cousin' when they know she has her own name! Its starting to piss me off.
"Angel, is fine." I make sure to emphasise her name. "I haven't seen her all day though, have you?"
Please tell me you've seen her, please tell me you've seen her.
"No, I haven't." she says sharply, which makes me think she has something against Angel.
Sophie hasn't seen her, Tasha hasn't seen her, I haven't seen her. I haven't even seen J-something.
Did that wimp kidnap her? I swear if he did, He should be looking foward to a world of pain. But... she can fight him off... I know that. I gotta think positive.
"Woah there Rey, what's going on in your head?" I hear Tasha say beside me.
"What? What are you talking about?" I ask.
"Your face just went through looking worried, angry then just plain depressing sadness in a time span of like 10 seconds."
"Oh... ah..." Im not sure what to say, I've kind of run out of excuses and I can't really think properly either.
Natasha sighs and says,
"I wish my brother was more like you."
"What why?" I ask a little suprized.
"Your so protective. My brother's never really been like that... he would never do for me what you did at my party for Angel." she tells me.
"What do you mean?" I say a little panicked.
"You know... punching Aaron in the face?" She says like it's the most obvious thing ever. I notice that during my whole conversation with Tasha that Sophie gets angrier and angrier by the minuet and starts murdering her salad with the fork she's holding.
"What?" she says rudely when she sees me looking.
"Are you okay? You look a little... pissed off." I say not at all faltering under her death glare.
"I'm great, thanks for asking." She says just as rudely then violently gets out of her seat and walks away muttering something about going to the field.
"Someone's got a temper..." Tasha says to herself.
"So Tasha, do you know what's up with Sophie?" I ask her nonchalantly.
"Not really but she's been in such a bad mood ever since you and Angel arrived. I don't know what her problem is." She say as she eats her granola bar.
"Okay, thanks." I say and I spend the rest of lunch trying to figure out what Sophie's problem is and trying to figure out where Angel could possibly be.

---------
After the last bell sounds I go on a wild goose chase around the school to find Angel who obviously isn't here. After half an hour I give up and decide to call her once I'm home.
The car ride home seems even longer without Angel by my side. Where the hell is she?
I'm being stupid, she's a well trained Assassin for gods sake. I should be more worried for the people around her. But I can't help but be worried for some reason. That feeling, no matter how much I try to push it down, keeps coming back.
Something bad is going to happen today.
That little voice inside my head keeps saying. I just hope it's wrong.
When I'm at home I search the house. Still no Angel.
I call her 6 times and I go straight to voice mail. This is not doing good for my nerves.
I need to stop worrying. I need to stop worrying. She's fine. I'm sure she's gone out somewhere and she's doing whatever it is she does for fun.
I spend the next two hours training. A lot. Much harder than normal. Trying to train the stress away. It seems to be working.
I get tired after a while and decide to stop.
I take a quick shower and change into some comfortable cloths. I watch some TV to pass the time and Angels still not home.
Suddenly my phone started ringing. I snatch it from the tea table quickly and look at caller ID.
Angel
I answer it as soon as I see her name on the small screen.
"Angel?"
"Hello? Rey?" The voice on the other end sounds panicked but it definitely doesn't sound like Angel.
"Who's this? Where's Angel?"
"It's Jason." he sound a little scared too.
"Where's Angel?" I ask even louder.
"She...she was.... taken by some, I don't know ,thug?" He explains quickly.
"WHAT?! Why didn't you do anything?!?" I shout at him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know what to do. It was really quick, I didn't know what was happening, I'm sorry." he sounds like he's on the verge of braking out into tears.
"Where are you right now?" I instantly go to the training room to grab some weapons.
"I'm following the van she was put in." He says, frantic.
"Where? You idiot Where?" I shout getting impatient. I swear he is going to get her killed. In our line of work we make a lot of enemies, which is never a good thing. And those enemies can do some crazy things. I have no idea who we're dealing with or what they want but I have to get to her before it's too late and Jason over there is not helping!
fortunately, he's so threatened by me that he quickly gives me the name of the town they're in.
"Why are you an hour away from here?" I keep shouting. This is his fault. Why is he so f*cking weak?!?
"She wanted to go laser tag! I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't have!" he says.
Ugh, why did it have to be him of all people?
"I'll be there as soon as I can!" I tell him.
"Okay, I'll call 911." he says.
"NO!" I quickly respond. Sh*t, if he calls 911 we are screwed. I'm talking life in prison screwed.
"Why not? They're closer than you are and I'm sure they can help."
Think Rey, think.
"I'll do it!" I blurt out. "I know more about her." I add.
"Okay... if your sure."
"Just keep following them." I order then hung up.
By the time I'm finished talking to Jason I've already packed up all the weapons and equipment I might need.
I rush into the garage and get into the drivers seat. I'm so glad Grey got us a semi-sports car. I will be able to go a lot faster in this.
--45 MINUETS LATER--
I'm almost there, I'm almost to Angel but can I be good enough to save her... actually she can can save herself more likely so I'll rephrase that. Can I be good enough to help her? I hope the answer to that is 'yes'.
I would go faster but I'm already pushing the speed limit and I certainly don't want any attention from the cops.
I'm almost there so I decide to call Jason for clearer directions. I can't believe it's come to this.
"Rey." Jason greets quietly.
"Jason, Tell me precisely where you are." I demand.
"Well I saw them go into an abandoned warehouse." He tells me.
Of course. It's always an abandoned warehouse.
"Wait...they're coming out again." he whispers.
Why would they be coming out? Forgot something in the car?
"What are they doing?" I ask.
He takes a while to reply but when he does it's something a little unexpected.
"Their putting her back in the van... and driving away." he says sounding just as confused as I was feeling.
"Okay start following them again."
"On twitter?"
"What's twitter?"
"Never mind." he said with depressed sigh.
"Just follow them." I say and hang up again.
Twitter? What the hell is twitter? As soon as I help Angel I'm looking up this 'Twitter'.
