We watched some movies for a while and I have to admit, the chess nerds weren't as bad as I thought they would be.

"Guys? Random question but if pro and con are opposites, wouldn't the opposite of progress be congress?" David asks.

One thing I've learnt about them is that they are extremely random people. For the past two hours I've been heard them ask questions like 'Why does the Easter bunny carry eggs? Rabbits don't lay eggs.' and 'Why does caregiver and caretaker mean the same thing?'

Must they know everything?

We were in the mini theatre Jason was talking about, there were rows of silky seats just like in a real theatre just not as many. I was sitting at the back with David and one of the other guys I don't remember the name of. Jason and Angel where right in front of me and they kept talking through the movie, not loud enough for it to be annoying but it was more of their closeness that annoyed me. The movie was finished and now we where just having random conversations.

"No but yes..." Someone tries to answer David's previous question.
"Well yeah... but let's face it, English makes no sence." Someone else answers.
I hear a phone start to ring, it's coming from in front of me.

"I'll be right back." Angel says as she exits the room and answers the call.
As soon as she's gone the guys start questioning Jason.

"So...?" One of they says suggestively whilst wiggling his eyebrows.

"So what?" Jason asks. He really has no idea, does he? Maybe Angel and him do have something in common after all.

"What's going on with you and Angel?" David asks excitedly.

As much as I want to tune them out, I oddly want to hear this myself.

"Nothing, she's my friend." He says innocently. He's so lucky it's sort of dark in here, he's probably blushing like an idiot.

"Mmmhhhmmm." One of them sass.

"Dude, you soo like her." David announces.

He doesn't answer so he's not admitting it yet he's not denying it either.

"What about you Rey? You know her better than any of us, does she like him?" David turns his attention to me.

I shrug, I don't want to be answering that.

"Come one, at least give us a hint."

"I don't know." I say.

"Oh! I get it! Blink twice if you're sworn to secrecy!" He whispers.

"I'm not sworn to secrecy." I say in a dull voice. "Why don't you just ask her?" I say. Or stay out of it. I add in my head.

"Because we are trying to be subtle." he complains.

"Doesn't matter anyway because I don't know nor do I care." I answer back a little bit harsher than I intended.

"You should know, hasn't she ever had a crush before? What did she act like then?" He pushes.

"No, never." I reply still dull.

"That's helpful." he says sarcastically. now he's starting to piss me off.

"Dave, stop. It doesn't matter, I know she doesn't like me like that." Jason interrupts before I commit a violent act upon David. Sometimes people need to know the right time to shut up.

"Why don't you just ask her out." Steve says.

"It's harder than you think." Jason answers.

"Whats harder than you think?" Angel walks in, she obviously heard the last part of the conversation.
