We're going back. I started to feel guilty after leaving Jason out of the blue for 3 weeks. He was such a genuinely nice person and I think he deserves an explanation, we can't tell him everything for obvious reasons but we can at least put his mind at ease. He's probably really confused about... well... everything.
"You ready to go Angel?" Grey asks.
"Yep, everything's packed. I got my weapons." I confirm.
"Be safe." he says with one last hug before I go.
"I'll be fine." I reasure."Look after her Rey." He says this looking towards an emotionless Rey.
He replies with a small nod and -for once, doesn't say anything.
He's been acting really cold ever since I mentioned going back a few days ago, they wouldn't let me go alone and Rey was the only on that could go with me so... there weren't many options. He really didn't look like he wanted to go back and it's not like I was forcing him too but he's still going. I guess maybe the friend thing could work out."Ready to go Rey?" I say after Grey and Brian say their last goodbyes.
"Whatever." he says and walks away to the jet.
He could be a little less gloomy about it, I mean jeez he could at least try to make this trip enjoyable.
"Fine then, be that way." I mutter but he's too far away to hear me.

"I can't believe we're back. What is the point." Rey complains once again when we enter the hotel.
We couldn't go back to the house as the people that kidnapped me probably knew it's location so instead we got a hotel room since we're only staying for a few days. The down side to this besides not being able to see my car again? I have to share a room with the grumpiest guy on the planet right now.
"Rey, you didn't have to come. You came of your own free will." I remind him.
"Of course I had to, you couldn't come alone." He says."I can look after myself, if you really didn't want to come here so badly then you shouldn't have. No one was forcing you." I say, trying to stay calm.
"Really? You can look after yourself? Look what happened last time." he snapped.
He did not just bring that up! That bastard!
"It was my fault! I get it! Let it go! It won't happen again." I state firmly.
"It happened once, it can happen again." he murmurs under his breath.
"You need to stop being so damn negative. I'm sure you'll love seeing Sophie again." I say remembering the last time I saw them together and cringe. I'd rather block that image out.
"And I'm sure you'll love seeing the chess nerd again." he says bitterly.
"That's it!" I have had enough of his attitude. "What is your damn problem because you're starting to piss me off with your 'everything sucks' act." I snap.
"He is my problem!" He snaps back."He?"
"James! Jordan? Jay-something..." he struggles to remember his name.
"Jason! You mean Jason!" I correct annoyed.
"Yeah! That guy."
"What do you have against him? I just don't understand it." I say to myself.
"You do realise you where with him when you where kidnapped right? He didn't seem to be doing anything productive to help, who knows if he wasn't apart of it?"
