I was anxious and nervous. Ilang beses kong inikot ang lugar pero wala akong makitang bakas ng laptop ko.
Damn it! Why are you so careless, Zirena?! Your files and the memory card are there!
The guard even helped me look for it but we failed.
"Naku, pasensya na, Ma'am," aniya. "Baka po may nakakuha no'ng nalingat ako. May tumawag po kasing kasamahan tungkol sa mga reporter."
"A-ayos lang po, it's not your fault," I mumbled. My head felt like exploding at that moment.
My files are there! I don't even fucking care about my vlog! I care about Wave's photos! If it went to the wrong hands then...
Naiiyak na ako. Lumubog na ang kuko ko sa palad sa higpit ng kuyom ko at napansing may mga bakat ng yapak sa iilang parte ng puwesto kong alam kong 'di sa 'kin.
Naghiwalay kami ng guard para mas malawak ang sakop ng paghahanapan kasi wala na sa loob kong makikita ko pa 'yon. Napunta na ako sa front part ng beach kakahanap at napasapo sa mukha, umuupo sa lounge.

"Oh? Zirena?!" I shifted my gaze, only to find the surprised Edmund behind me.
"Ed..." I murmured.
"What are you doing here?" He asked. "I thought you were back in Manila!"
"No, nandito lang ako, nag-iikot." I managed to smile a little.
"Hindi ka nagsabing nagbalik ka dito. Nasa Casa Amara kami kahapon at pinaalis do'n sa camping sa labas ng hacienda nila. However, we received an anonymous tip about Wave's whereabouts ay pumunta kami rito,"
Anonymous tip? Sino? Ni hindi kami dumaan sa main road kanina! We went straight to the yacht sa private beach front nina Wave at umikot diretso rito sa halip na dumaan pa sa Casa!
"I see..." I mumbled. "May balita ba?"
"Not luck." He shook his head. "But there were rumors circulating about Wave's possible involvement with Robert Aguirre."
Nanlamig ako.
"What? The senator?"
"Oo,"
"Paano?"
"Someone saw and took a photo of Wave and Senator Aguirre together, mukhang may pinag-usapan. I heard it was heated and Wave stormed out of the place mad."
Now... thinking of it, mas nanlamig ako sa realization, naalala ang tensyon niya pagkakita sa T.V. no'ng pinapanuod ko.
Not just that... they had the same condition.
Fuck...
I was about to leave when an irritating voice echoed.
"Look who's here?" It was Kierra and she was smirking at me.
Hindi ako umimik. She has that amused smile on her face.
"Oh, Kierra?" Ed called.
I straightened my back and threw her a cold look.
"Hey, Ed." Kierra smirked and kissed Ed's cheek. I almost made a face when she did the same to me as if we're close!
Pero I'm not rude kaya 'di ko siya tinulak kahit gustong-gusto ko.
"It's been a while, Zirena!" She blurted with a mysterious smile."How was your vacation?" Maamong tanong niya.
"Great," malamig kong sagot.
