"Cindy she's here!" The second I step foot into the house is the second Sarah let's my presence be known

"How did it go?Did my plan work?Oh my god am I sensing a second date?Did he win you this?probably not since he sucks ass at aiming" she insults him though it's not true, because if it were in this case he wouldn't have won me this giant bear that's twice my size

"Did you guys kiss?!" Sarah starts piling up my head with questions not even letting me answer the ones beforehand

"Y-You're as-asking as if I d-didn't see y-you s-snooping by th-the window" I say the whole scenario replaying in my head once again

"Th-Thank you again f-for tonight, I had a good t-time" I thank Nathan as we approach the end of our date

"Anytime, I had fun and hope we can do this again sometime" he tells me the statement itself making my heart jump in joy and causing my face to display a pure smile

No words are said from there maybe because we are just stood staring into each other's eyes, or maybe because there is nothing much to say now just a moment of silence is held between us with nothing but cricket noises...literally

The atmosphere though does change, tension seemed to build between us quickly

My heart leaps in excitement once he starts leaning in , like magnets I also lean in cutting the temptation short for both of us, eager to feel his lips on my own and the feeling must be mutual because in one swift motion his lips are hard on mines

As the kiss gets deeper and intense I hear the attempts of "rushed whispers" from Sarah and Cindy

"Oh My god they're kissing!"

"Shhh Sarah or they will hear us and back up I could feel your breath on my neck"

The sound of something banging against the window is what captures my full attention as I turn around to see Cindy rubbing her forehead with a pained expression taking over her features

"I'm so sorry!I lost my balance and-" Sarah immediately starts to apologize, her hands extending to check her but Cindy not having any of it, swats her hand away and walks from the window Sarah following after her

"You can't blame us for being curious." Sarah shrugs as Cindy walks in with a bag of peas attached to her forehead

"I'm sorry about that again" Sarah says, quickly looking at me from the corner of her eyes before looking back at Cindy, her hands intertwined behind her

"It's fine I just hope I don't get a knot" Cindy says as she removes the bag of peas from her forehead where nothing but a swollen bump stands

Sarah's eyes widen and she nervously gulps

"Um i-is that my phone I hear?..it's probably my mom I should get going before she kills me" She says and quickly goes to retrieve her bags

"Bye Guys Have a good knot-I mean..night!..ha-have a good night" she corrects herself with a timid chuckle before dashing out the door

"I have a knot on my forehead don't I?" Cindy questions, her eyes searching my own, a look of hope that she doesn't displayed and I, unfortunately, have to be the one to demolish the last bit of it

"Mhm" I softly mumble,pursing my lips, in less than a second she's taking giant steps towards the front door

"SARAHHHHHHHHH!" I flinch at the sudden yelling of name, but quickly go after her knowing Sarah is still in the driveway
