Self: I want to check myself in.
Woman: And what would you like to check yourself in for.
Self: Suicide watch.
*Click.
Self: What was that?
Woman: Well since you walked in here and the first thing you said was you needed to be on suicide watch, I can't let you leave.
Self: You locked me in here!
Woman: You can't leave. I am not legally allowed to let you leave.
Self: This isn't what I wanted. I thought I had a choice.
Woman: You had a choice and you chose to come and check yourself in.
Self: ...
Woman: I'm gonna need you to fill out some forms and then we'll get you processed. Right now you're on a mandatory seventy-two hour suicide watch. You can't leave. After the seventy-two hours is up you'll get reassessed. A doctor will make the decision to let you either leave, or if he feels you're not fit, he'll continue your program here. You maybe here for longer than seventy-two hours. Do you understand?
Self: Yes.
Woman: Alright. Get these filled out and we'll get you settled. You're gonna be okay. I see that you're shaking. It's your first time being admitted into a mental hospital and you're scared but you will be okay here. I promise you that. You'll be okay.
Heart: Okay?
Self: I'll be okay.

Time is flying by,
I'm not sure where she's taking me.
We've been down this path before,
Now we're finally doing something to save me.
Seventy-two hours.
I wish I wasn't shaking.
I've never been this scared before.
I've never felt this alone.
I'm not sure what's going on.
But I know I have to do this for me.-
