Val’s POV

We kissed for a long time and it got more and more intense. He finally pulled away and I stood up on my own feet again. “So you and Derek aren’t dating”, Alex said trying to sound casual but he was out of breath too.

“No we went on a date but I told you about that and it didn’t lead anywhere”, I said shaking my head.

“So you’re single”, he said with a smirk spreading across his face.

“Don’t get any ideas”, I warned and he picked me up and spun me around. “Stop I can get dizzy in fifteen seconds”, I laughed.

“You’re real”, he said with his arms still around me.

“I’m very real”, I nodded, “I was real on the computer too”.

“But it’s different when I can actually touch you”, he said touching my cheek and I automatically blushed, “and feel you blush”.

“Don’t get too used to it”, I smiled.

“So I have Spanish last what do you have?” he asked curiously.

“Biology that’s where all the cool people hang out”, I said proudly.

“I thought that was the parking lot”, he said catching onto the Big Bang Theory reference.

“So about what she said after that”, I smirked.

“Let’s get to know each other a little first”, he suggested.

“Fine”, I sighed.

“Alex Woods”, he said extending his hand.

“Valerie Marx”, I said shaking it.

“That’s enough introduction”, he said then pulled me up to him very closely.

“I don’t know I might have changed my mind”, I said biting my lip.

“I’ll just have remember your lips that taste of chocolate and marshmallow”, he said cheerily.

“Tomorrow they’ll taste differently though”, I remarked.

“I guess I’ll just have to kiss you tomorrow then”, he suggested.

“Not your worst idea”, I nodded.

“My worst idea was taking so long to meet you”, he said leaning in.

“Well you’ll just have to make up for lost time”, I said leaning in closer. We were just about to kiss when someone cleared their throat and I saw Derek standing over us. “What do you want?” I asked annoyed.

“We have to be in biology early for the dissection class”, he said soberly.

“Right”, I said pulling away and grabbing my bag, “I get to dissect a frog yay”.

“Sounds interesting see you later”, Alex said then we started leaving.

“Can you hold on for a second?” I said then I went back and kissed Alex one more time and it was like fireworks. I could get used to the feelings Alex filled me with. “I’ll see you later”, I said pulling away.

“I look forward to it”, he said then I rejoined Derek.

“Alright I’m ready to go”, I said and we headed out of the library.

“So that’s your online boyfriend”, Derek said sternly.

“Yeah that’s Alex”, I smiled.

“Surprise that he came to your school is he a stalker or something?” he asked snidely.

“No his dad is Mr. Hallaway”, I said cheerfully.
