Chapter 70

Lex's PoV

I found myself sitting at the single couch while Clane is sitted to my lap. Lahat sila ay nakatingin sa akin. Ewan ko ba pero kinikilabutan ako sa mga titig nila. Hindi kasi ako sanay na may nakatingin sa akin. "Ate Lex would you play with me?" I stared down at Clane who's looking at me with his puppy eyes. Oh gosh, not with puppy eyes.

"Clane, I already asked ate Lex to spend time with me." Seath countered. This makes Clane pout." But you  attend at the same school. Isn't it enough?" Clane argued. "You two, stop it okay?" Awat ko sa kanila. Baka mamaya magkaroon ng sibling rivalry ng dahil sa akin. I don't want that to happen.

"Mukhang wala na pala akong problema. Akala ko ii-snob ka ni Clane dahil may pagka-snobber ang batang yan. It makes me curious though. Why does he know you?" Nakatingin sa akin si tita Den habang pinagmamasdan ako. Even the others are staring at me. "Should I tell them ate Lex?" And he looked up to me. I smiled as a go signal. Bumaba sya sa pagkakaupo sa akin.

"I met Ate Lex at the mall... when I was lost..." He looked directly to the Black D. who's now scratching their heads. Its their fault anyway.

Puzzled, Tita Claudine ask. "Your lost?! How come sweety? Kuya Clyde's with you."

"Mom, I uhh.... I kinda... lost sight of him?" Pasimple akong natawa dahil hindi sya sigurado sa huling sinabi nya. Pinaningkitan sya ng mata ni tita pero pumagitna sa kanila si Clane. "Mom, don't be mad at him. It's my fault I lost. I was looking around the mall and too fascinated and I became careless." Bumuntong hininga na lang si Tita. "And besides mom..." Clane looked back at me wearing a genuine smile. His gray eyes sparkled with amazement. (And those eyes reminded me of Clyde since his eyes are also gray.) "If it didn't happen. I wouldn't meet ate Lex. " then he walked towards me and hug me. As a return I kissed his cheek.

"Oh no, may katunggali ka na Clyde." Tumawa sila sa biro ni Kioji. I mentally rolled my eyes and put Clane on my lap. Clane's face shows confusion at Kioji.  "What do you mean kuya Ji?" Takang tanong nito. Ngumisi naman ang ilan kay Clyde. "Well, your kuya Clyde is courting your ate Lex." Walang pag aalinlangang sabi ni Rav. Tita Den and Seath gaped at me while Clane was unmoving on his spot.
