A/N Luke is one twisted fuck. I can't wait for this fic to progress and you all see how much of a bad boy he is. There's a surprise in the next chapter, too ;).

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Ashton..." My mother and little brother loudly sing. I sit up in my bed and smile at them. "Thanks guys!" I hug them both.

"Happy birthday, dear. Did you sleep well? Your fathers coming home early this evening so we can go out to celebrate." My mother starts, sitting on the edge of my bed.

Harry jumps up in my lap and smiles at me "There's a present downstairs for you."

I look at my mom for confirmation, "I was going to give it to you when your father got home, it's from the whole family."

I gently set Harry to the side and race down the stairs.

There, sitting on my kitchen table is a brand new tape recorder. It has a tape in it labeled "Hymns".

Mother and Harry walk in behind me, "How do you like it?" She asks, smiling wide. She's proud with herself.

"I love it, thanks." I hug her.

"You can buy tapes for it at the church, they sell them in the lobby sometimes. But, I have to approve everything you listen to first."

I nod, I don't care what the rules are, I love it.

"I'm home." I hear my father call from downstairs.

I turn the tape recorder off and pull out my headphones. I walk across the hall to Harry's room, "Bud, dad's home." Harry jumps and runs past me.

I walk into the kitchen just after Harry, my dad is smiling and hugging him.

"Happy birthday, son." he says to me, "I hear you've already got your present."

"Oh, yes sir. Thank you so much." I hug him.

He shakes his head, "No problems, kid. Now, who wants dinner?"

Harry raises his hand, "I do! I do!"

My mom laughs and says "I think someone's hungry." She ruffles his hair.

"Well let's get a move on." My dad says, directing everyone towards the door.

We eat at home every night except for four times a year, someone's birthday. On birthdays we go to the diner in town.

The whole drive is spent with my mother complaining about the heat and my dad talking about work.

I stare out the window.

The bell rings above the door signifying our presence. There's only about two tables occupied so we sit in one towards the back.

When I sit down, Harry next to me and our parent across, I notice Him. He's sitting on the other side of the diner, drinking a cup of coffee and staring off out the window.

I try not to look at him, I mean, I don't even really know him. I spoke to him once and he was really odd.

"My names Sarah and I'll be your waitress tonight, can I start you off with some drinks?" A girl with short black hair and big eyes ask as she holds a small notepad and pen.

"Water." I quickly respond, letting my family order.

I hear my dad scoff, I look up and my mother seems just as confused, she asks "What?"

"Our waitress. She's got a tattoo." He shakes his head, watching the girl walk away, "probably sleeps around and does drugs, too."

I frown, why would someone put those hideous things on their body?
