Excitement! School was over .

"Baby, since school is over, when would you be coming over? There is still a party we need to go to at victor's place."

Ebi wanted her answer now, it was evident by the way, she was making those little sounds she made when impatient.

"I'll come, it's friday isn't it?"

"Yes by 12. We need to meet at my house, then we can go over together" .

Lesley was tensed. Always have been, when it came to going to von street or a party with her mates.

She had to do too much, between finding a good wear, jewelries, that won't make her feel outdated, trying to walk and compose herself, also to try and behave like she had the money and doing this everyday was her thing, she never really enjoyed herself.

She didn't belong there, but she didn't know where she belonged either.

If it was partying with the rich and it definitely wasn't in this town where people settle for less, get married to each other and increase the population.

"Okay dear, no problem. I will be there. Make me something to eat, i would be hungry."

"You will eat anything you see. You know i'm not much of a cook. " Ebi said as always".

"Okay, then, later. I need to go, mum just called."

"Alright dear." The phone went dead. Pretending to be high class, was stressful.

At least, in the estate she was among the wealthy, her family was an exemplary one, she was greeted and looked upon with respect. She still wanted a guy like Ehis, one who would respect her.

She sighed, things haven't changed.

"Our graduate! where is my daughter Lesley?. Come and tell me how you feel." Her dad's voice boomed everywhere.

He came into the room, his face crinkled up, due to the smell of sweat oozing from her brother's clothes.

She grinned. Already knowing the next thing, he would say.

"This is a pig's house. I have tried to...."

"Dad, the graduation party was nice. Your money, wasn't a waste as i told you it wouldn't be." She cuts him off before he started "The talk."

She reached into her bag and brought out a magazine, calender, cap, sticker, a little wall clock and the T-shirt that was given to them on their graduation. The bag was also one of the gifts.

"All these for that amount of money?. These are silly sourverniers."

Lesley looked up at him, was he serious?.
"Oh well, it was better than James and Lucy's graduation, where they only got T-shirts. Though your school was more expensive......."

She zoned out. Her dad, she mused, always looking for something to complain about. It always made them laugh.

It would have been horrible, if they thought he was really serious. He was a funny and caring man after all.

She beamed at him.

The resemblance was uncanny. The shape of the face, the nose and the body.

If he had been a lady, she knew he would have been like her. His sisters were her future self.

She was 5.5, though a petite girl. She wanted to be taller but from the genes, she knew it would be a miracle.

Thank God she got the legs and she knew, she has a nice pair of them.
