So we are back to iredia or is it Lesley, maybe both of them.

I guess you have to stay tuned to find out.

..........................

Iredia closed his notes and dropped his head on the desk, his head was banging. He had been drilling everything into his head since he entered the university of Benin.

He was determined to be the best but most times the strain was too much. He didn't even have a social life.

He hadn't had sex in a year and all the girls he could have had weren't even attractive to him.

He had friends but none he could really confide in.

They called him cold behind his back, he knew, he had heard them at one time but let it slide.

They weren't wrong but if they wanted to be with him that had to accept him for what he was .

He knew they followed him because he was a beacon for the girls . His physique and handsomeness always made girls take a second glance but what drew them in the most was his eyes.

He had even modelled for a small modelling agency during his first year when was still into clubbing .

He had indulged in sex with so many girls that he couldn't count. His mysteriousness added to his appeal too. He knew.

He had been told by several ladies but after that first year. He had dropped everything.

His result was not what he wanted. He had gone back to reflect on the reason he left everything behind. His promise to be the best in all he did and dropped those attitude.

He was so serious that he was even afraid of himself.

He just couldn't stop. He wanted to go back to himself, his former self but he didn't know how.

All he saw when he closed his eyes was his family. His mother striving everyday for them. Going to work as a nurse, taking double shift, coming home late.

Sometimes she even stayed two whole days at work. She didn't have to do any of this when she was queen.

Those days before he entered school, when he watched her routine, he had always been sad. Blaming himself for doing this to her, for bringing her this low and allowing her go through all these suffering because of them.

He had been selfish, he shouldn't have given it all up. He should have fought. He had been weak and in the process disturbed the balance of his family.

The good things they were used to were gone. The strain of working and the fast life of the city that they were facing were his faults.

His brothers had been a surprise, there had been a bitterness for the lost of their father, resentment towards him and his mum for not being told about it.

Their resentment lasted for only three months though.

But pertaining the crown, they hadn't made any comment about them moving out.

He had been scared his brothers would resent him, but they had been happy to leave. It seems they weren't too happy there.

Edowen had even told him he had longed to leave even if he had stayed to be king and Nosa was just happy to go with the flow.

He had been twelve, not having been close to his father because of his exploits. His pain had not been excruciating like his and Edowen who knew the late king.
