-Y/n's POV-
We sat in the waiting room in silence. I was all tense. I didn't know what questions they were going to ask me. And I was scared of what Ollie would say. Nancy went to the toilet while we waited. I think Ollie noticed I was scared. He squeezed my hand and looked me in the eyes.
"Hey, you're going to be okay. I'll be with you the whole time," he reassured me. I nodded and smiled, resting my head on his shoulder. He was so comforting.
Nancy came back and we were all called into a small room. "Take a seat," the woman said. Ollie and I sat down while Nancy stood to the side of the room. "Okay, so the way this works, I'm just going to ask you both questions. I know you might be scared, but if we can find out who did this to you, that's another criminal behind bars," she said. Ollie and I nodded. "so lets start simple," she said. Ad that's where the questions started. All of them were easy, until one.
"And did they say anything to you?" I nodded. "What did they say?" the woman asked. I started to tear up. No y/n! Hold them in! "They said I was useless and pathetic," I looked at Ollie. "And that Ollie would never like me because he thought I was disgusting," Ollie squeezed my hand under the table as a tear rolled down my cheek. "And that I was just a useless foster kid with no parents." I whispered the last part,
-Ollie's POV-
Poor y/n. She struggled to say the last part. And what they had said about me was wrong. I cared so much about y/n, how could someone do this to her? "Oliver Morgan, is it true that you found y/n?" Great! My turn now, I guess. "Yes," I stated with confidence.
"And is that y/n's blood on your shirt?" I looked down at it, having forgotten it was there, "Yes, from when I picked her up," I said, my confidence dropping a little. And then more questions were asked. Finally, we were allowed to go.
"We would like to build a case but frankly, we just don't have enough evidence or leads. We don't know what they look like, we don't even know if they're male or female," The woman said. Nancy nodded. She hadn't said anything the whole time we were here. I could see y/n was relieved. I'm glad we could finally leave the station. It had a bad vibe to it. Well, it was a police station. I was so lad when we stepped outside and I took in a deep breath.
